###
A report released this week by California Environmental Protection Agency's Department of Toxic Substances Control found that several nail polish products tested contained the three chemicals commonly referred to as the "toxic trio" - dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, and formaldehyde. Despite several of the products' claims to be chemical free, in many cases even stating so on the label, they contained them nonetheless. While many lacquer brands were found guilty of blurring the line between 'toxic' and 'non-toxic', industry leader butter LONDON is proud to have been a pioneering force behind the creation of non-toxic nail lacquer in http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifthe United States and continues their dedication to the health and well-being of their customers. Please find a quote below from Leslie Freytag, President &http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif CEO of butter LONDON:
“All of our products are formulated without the use of the harmful ingredients Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP. We feel it is imperative to provide a range of 3 Free products that is not only fashion-forward and unique, but most importantly, safe.”

2012 Coachella: Amon Tobin headlines and Tweezerman helps!
From the basic straight line to the crazy retro cat-eye, we’ve got 10 eyeliner looks that you must try now |
![]() This is a TotalBeauty.com eye makeup article We know what you're thinking: I can barely draw a straight line, let alone a winged tip. Are we right or are we right? Well that's where eye makeup guru Taylor Chang-Babaian comes in. She shares details on how to hold the brush, keep your hand steady, and achieve the more daring looks -- all on your first try. |

Hello sweet cutie pie!
The 2012 Coachella music festival is coming up this week starting on April 13th-the good and lucky Friday the 13th in Coachella California. I went to the first one-wow!
Now you may need to pack along a pair of tweezers-to groom your brows and possibly remove a splinter?http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
The Tweezerman brand are by far the best tweezers on the planet. If you are http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifgetting ready for prom here in Arizona-you may want to get these too to help groom your brows to be photo ready for the prom.
Either way-visit the Tweezerman website to get yours-or stop by your local Sephora, Ulta or Walgreens. The tweezers average about $20 and come with a protective case to store them in. Enjoy!
Now-I've just been introduced to Amon Tobin and I'm the new biggest fan. He will be headlining the Friday night session of Coachella. Get a taste of Amon Tobin in this video!

Prom hair: John Frieda tight curls and tiaras
We gave unsolicited eyebrow makeovers to the celebs who need them most. See what you can learn from their mistakes now |
![]() This is a TotalBeauty.com celebrity makeup article Defining the perfect brow is a tricky business -- even the A-listers get it wrong sometimes (we're looking at you, Fergie!), so we decided to take the worst arches in Hollywood and give them a makeover -- with a little Photoshop magic, of course. How do yours stack up? |

I hope you are enjoying a Good Friday and Shabbat Shalom to your Passover too!
Here in Arizona-it's prom time!
If you plan on doing your own hair, consider getting this new John Frieda ion ceramic 1" barrel curling iron, it's actually called a 'tight curls' curling iron.
I have tested it and liked the non-slip thumb grip, it got really hot, really fast, has a digital reader for telling the temperature, can be increased in heat or decreased by a click of a button and best of all it comes with a hot pad so you don't burn your counter.
I enjoyed and it's super affordable at Walmart and Target for just over $20.
Happy Prom prepping-now enjoy this short video!
P.S. My secret for how to get the tiara to stay on without sewing it into your hair with fishing line is to get thin elastic in the color of your hair and either tie a knot or sew it onto the circles with just enough room to make it taught on your head. So your tiara is now like a head band and can be easily re-used or adjusted if it shifts during wild krunk like prom dancing.
Enjoy!

Prom: Too Faced Better Than False Eyelashes-instead of falsies
Beauty editors always keep a few special products within reach at all times. See which ones they stash in their desks |
![]() This is a TotalBeauty.com beauty tips article Beauty editors have seen and tried them all -- beauty products that is. But only the best products make the cut and earn a special place on their desktops. From hand cream to hair bands, see the 10 beauty products editors can't go a day without. |

If you are getting ready for prom-this may be for you, or if you want longer thicker lashes then this new Too Faced product may be for you.
It's called Better Than False Eyelashes and is available at Sephora for $35.00.
I've tested my sample several times and here's the thoughts:
1. I can apply false eyelashes faster than I can put on this product-but, if you are not a fan of gluing on fake lashes this may be for your new favorite product.
2. If you wear contact lenses the second step may irritate your eyes with little fuzzies floating about your eyes.
3. If you are in a rush-this product takes time to apply, so save it for your leisurely beauty routine.
I did get some thicker eyelashes, but had a hard time removing the product from my lashes. Be sure you have heavy duty eye makeup remover on hand!
I really like the Too Faced brand, but love my false eyelashes so this product is good, but not a fit for me. You just may like it-so try it!
