Hey Scrappy Friends,
This is my first tutorial with the new software I’m using for my own personal scrapbooking: Forever Artisan! It is insanely-powerful and has so many more bells & whistles than MyMemories. The best place to learn all about it is through a pixels2Pages Subscription through Forever - they have tons of tutorials, tricks, and templates ready for you. But, I wanted to show off how my line of LAYOUT FRAMES can be used to quickly create a striking and eye-catching layout in just a few minutes!
There are a total of 8 sets of Layout Frames in two different sizes: 12”x12” and Seamless Layflat. Each can be purchased separately, in Bundles of four packs (16 templates), and in Mega Bundles of all 8 packs (32 Templates).
Before watching the video, you’ll want to open Artisan and start a new 12”x12” or SLF project. You should also know what photos you want to use and what kit(s). For purposes of this tutorial, I am using 3 photos and a couple of papers - but the steps are the same no matter now many photos you use.
The collections used in this tutorial are BEACH PARADISE and 12x12 LAYOUT FRAMES - Circles. Just click on the preview below to view the YouTube tutorial or use this link.
If you prefer written directions, here are the steps:
- Open a new project - either 12"x12" or Seamless Layflat.
- From the Home Ribbon, click Template --> Using Template from Art Kit. Navigate to the Layout Frame you want to use.
- Add the Photos you want.
- Choose your content - the kit you want to use.
- Customize the Layout Frame. Add a shadow, add a 3D Edge if you'd like a bevel, recolor or cover with a paper.
- Add any embellishments and/or a title.
- Add journaling and date your layout.

I can’t wait to see what YOU make.
