Clowning Around and Losing Marbles

I just finished these two! They are listed in my etsy shop if you would like a closer look. I love how the one in orange turned out! I have lost my marbles and they each have a marble eye!

More Clowns

Hi folks! Just finished up these little fellows and I have listed them on ebay. I am still working on a couple custom orders and it's taking a lot longer than I'd hoped. I'm trying to get back into work mode. Wishing you all a great week!

Send in the Clowns or Send Them Away

When making this next series of Clowns I had a few interesting memories come to mind. I was thinking about a certain abandoned home from my childhood. The home was off a dirt road called Lone Tree Road. You could not see the home from the road only corn fields. The home was very spooky and said to be haunted. The man who lived and died in the house was a Clown who preformed with the Ringling Brothers Circus. I only went into the home once it was a very short visit!

The song Send in the Clowns was written by Stephen Sondheim in 1973 for the musical A Little Night Music. The song was not actually about clowns but how we as humans can be foolish in life.
The song was made popular by Frank Sinatra and Judy Collins.

Isn't it rich?
Are we a pair?
Me here at last on the ground,
You in mid-air.
Where are the clowns?

Isn't it bliss?
Don't you approve?
One who keeps tearing around,
One who can't move...
Where are the clowns?
Send in the clowns.
          -Stephen Sondheim

Well I think I may have been foolish as a kid to go into that house. The house where the clown lived.
And just maybe these clowns will be adopted and I can send them away!

Clowning around

I really do not like clowns that much I think they are creepy! So I made Creeps he bothers me so much I keep him facing the wall. He will be put away soon or maybe will find a new home that can handle him.  Clown balloon does not bother me as much. Both are stained and worn for that found in the yard look. Pennywise is far worse than these two!

Pumpkins a Goblin & a Snowman Clown

I finally was able to finish some pumpkins. I started these last year. Two down and only 9 or 10 to go. The Goblin and the Snowman Clown I just wanted to share. I'm working on lots more! I missed a Harvest show last year it was rained out so I'm hoping to do it this year. It's at our local Cider Mill. They have a lot more than cider & donuts. They make the best fruit wines too!

No Clowning Around

I'm back! Did you miss me? I missed all of you so I'll be visiting soon. It was a real nightmare being without a good way to get online! Worse than my clown nightmares. Speaking of clowns here's my latest Creepling. He needs a name any suggestions?  Let me know. Great to be back see you soon! :) Becca

Coulrophobia

Do you have it Fear of Clowns?
Well, I have to admit Pennywise the Clown from Stephen Kings It got to me a little. The other clown was the one in Poltergeist which turned it's head around that was creepy.
I used to watch Bozo as a child he didn't scare me.
Here's my nod the the Creepy Clown world. I think his name is Corky. My boys don't like him so I guess my attempt worked.
If you'd like to venture further into the Creep World of Clowns you can check out this treasury I made at Etsy. Warning though it contains Creepy Clowns!

Clowning Around

I got these retro Halloween masks a few years ago. Every year we take spooky pictures in our woods. I use photo shop and adjust the tint for the desired affect. Wishing everyone a very spooky weekend!

Eye Candy at the Carnival!

Here's a few fun shots I took at a local Carnival. We had a ton of fun and the boys really enjoyed themselves. I think it was the perfect summertime treat! I hope you enjoy the eye candy! I'll share more later.
