G I V E A W A Y !

I'm so happy to announce that i'm having my first blog giveaway!
Last week i made three buntings like the one in the photos for the baby shower of my friend Karla, one she got to keep to decorate her baby's room, one Amelia got to keep for her bedroom and the third one, one of my readers is going to receive it in the mail! For this, you have to participate on this giveaway and here is how you can:

1.- Leave a comment on this post and
2.-Go to The Angry Weather's Facebook fanpage and click LIKE!
3.-You can have an extra entry if you also follow my blog ;)

That's it!!! so simple, and on September 22 i'll make the raffle and announce the winner :D here on my blog, on my twitter account, on my Facebook fan page and i'll send a message to the lucky winner through Facebook.
I'll send this prize ANYWHERE in the world so don't be shy and participate!

The bunting measures 2.5 meters long (or 8.20 feet) and has 9 lovely fabric flags in 4 different patterns. Each flag measures 8 inches long. The colour combination is green, red, white and a bit of pink. It would look lovely on a kitchen, over your bed, on a nursery or in the garden.
This color scheme is very summery and i know summer is almost over, but that won't be a problem for those in tropical climates, and for the ones (like me!) living in more cold climates, it'll be a lovely reminder of those beautiful summer afternoons through the whole winter season!

All images are mine.
I hope you are as excited as i am!
Good luck to you all!!
UPDATE: i have moved the date for the raffle to September 6th!!

Working on the packaging of my jewellery

This are pictures from my "studio" tonight (i don't even have a desk! this is our coffee table!) where i was working on the packaging of my jewellery, so i'll be prepared to ship right away whenever i made my first sale :)
I design it this weekend and i'm so very happy with the results, it looks beautiful and very professional, i would say! I'll show you how it looks all put together as soon as i take some pictures :)

Another fun thing (fun for me) is that i carved my first stamp today!! it was so much fun, i love it and i'm afraid i'll be hooked on stamp carving for a while now :) I followed an on-line tutorial from an awesome blog and learn so much (i'm preparing a blog post about that and then i'll give you the link so you can check it out). I carved the two sets of rain drops you can see in these pictures, and stamped them on fabric with textile painting.

And look at my flowers! so beautiful. The lady who lives downstairs gave them to us. She cut them from a tree they have downstairs. Gorgeous flowers and they smell really good at night.
I'll go to bed now, good night and thanks for reading!

Tree of life. And some cute birds too.

This is a pendant i made for my friend Ale (AKA gachita-miñiñi) and she just received it this morning!
I promised to create this pendant for her since December and it took me a while to organize myself and make it, but now it's done and delivered to her!
Was the waiting time worth it miñiñi? I hope so!
I enjoyed a lot making it, and was so proud of myself when i finished sawing the entire tree and birds with just one saw blade!! Maybe this doesn't make any sense to you but, believe me, those little saw blades are so delicate and a pain in the ass when they break (and they brake often), and this piece was a lot of sawing.
I also made the bag with the embroidered tree so she can put little treasures inside :)
Ale: I really hope you enjoy it for years and years to come. Love ya

Cute little bag and cool little tree.

My friend Bertha just received this little notebook i made for her, with her portrait!
I'm so happy she liked it :)
I definitely want to make more notebooks like this, it's a great way to use my illustrations and so much fun to make!

Spoon

Here's the cute little spoon i specially made for my dear friend Maribel.
It was so much fun to make, and the result is pretty cool, isn't it?
I love it so much i'm planning on making one for myself :)
