Customer profile

The other day I was taking photos of one of my dear friends that also happen to be a customer. She was wearing one of my vintage-reproduction rings and that gave me and idea: to make a little series of blog post about my customers, their likes and interest. I think this little fun project will help me understand more about them and get to know them better: It's always fascinating to see who's wearing something you created!

OK, here we go!

This is Maribel and she owns one of my Bubble Mod Bronze rings. Beside being one of the most kindest, good-hearted persons I know, Maribel has great sense of style and she's the person I always go to when I need advice about an outfit or where to shop. She says about what she looks when shopping for jewelry: "I love jewellery that tells a story: handmade pieces, souvenirs from a trip and vintage jewelry that was special for someone else before me".

"Contrasts are an important part of my personality: I consider myself delicate but brave, calm but passionate and I'm always looking for adventure. These same contrasts are what I look for in an outfit or jewelry: I like to mix and match, putting unexpected pieces together, both delicate and bold".

Dress: H&M
Boots: Urban Outfitters
Ring: The Angry Weather
Earrings: Vintage

Montreal shops recommended by Maribel: Unicorn, Blo, Atelier B & Arterie.

I hope you like this post! and if you are one of my customers and would like to be featured on the series, don't hesitate to let me know!

xx

Canadian Summer

Family, friends, forests, getting lost, finding ourselves again, a lake, the trees, the sunset, sand under my feet, blue sky over our heads, a bonfire. Those are the words that better describe our weekend. How refreshing to spend the day with loved ones, exploring new places!

I took the lake photos on my friend`s parents house in the Laurentians where we went to say farewell to my friend who`s leaving for Australia next week. I`ll miss her :(

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for reading this. I hope you are doing great and I wish you a beautiful week!

Thrifting!

Hi there! How are you? So many days have passed since the last time I say hi :) I hope everything is well with you and that your weekend was great!

I have some photos to share with you from Saturday. I went with my friends to an antique market and we found some very cool stuff, specially jewellery! as the three of us are jewellers that was the thing we cared the most ;) hehehe

Why did I closed my eyes so freaking tight?! Ugh.

Favourite part of the trip: Antique brass rings! Thanks for taking us there Louise!

Silly girls: Marie and Louise.
(Check out their etsy shops here: MarKhed and Louise Koo both are awesome jewellers!)
Thank so much for stopping by! Have a great week!!

Friendship is a weird thing

I love my friends and i think a have a handful of them that i really can count on.
Yesterday was an odd day regarding friendship. First, I made contact with a couple of friends that used to be very close to me in my teenage years.
Then i started a project with my best friend who has been that since i was 19 years old. I'm really happy because distance has taken its toll and this is an opportunity to make things together and keep up with each other more often.
And then things got nasty with another friend. Isn't weird? all that in one day...
Years have passed and nothing had drastically changed on my relationships with friends and suddenly the planets were oddly aligned and all that happened on a single day.
I wish i was better on maintaining good relationships with people.
Thank god that does not apply to me and husband. He's the only person in this planet with whom i just can be and he always loves me the way i am. Thanks dear :) I love you and your words always make me feel better :)
Well i guess it was about time for things to move a little, so i guess all is good at the end.
