Let's get hopping!

For my featured card, I selected a beautiful sunflower stamp and lovely sentiment by Repeat Impressions.  The sunflower stamp can be found in here.  The sentiment stamp can be found here.

I started by stamping three sunflowers with distress inks and using glitter pens to color the flowers and stems.  It was at this point that I lengthen the flower stems, by coloring the stems longer with my brown glitter pen...  I wanted them would reach the bottom of my jar.
The jar is a Die-Versions' Whisper die called Bug Jar and can be found here.  I die cut the jar out of non texture thick black card stock. I placed a line of tape behind the jar seal to keep my flowers positioned.   Once I liked the flower arrangement, I added thin foam tape to the backs of all three flowers, doubling the tape on the center flower.

I hand cut each of the flowers and just so you know, I didn't worry about keeping the leafs attached to the stems.  It was super easy to just insert the leafs into the arrangement after the flowers were taped down.  You really can't tell on this photo, but I added a layer of glossy accents to the inside of the jar covering the stems.

Once my flower element was down, I stamp my sentiment on a piece of while non texture card stock, which I inked w/distress inks and turned into a hanging fish tail banner.
