2010 printable Calendars – Freebie of the week

Christmas is almost here and I’ve been thinking to insert an Advent Calendar but time flies and it’s already December! Too late for one! So it’s time to add some 2010 Calendars.
“A print a day” always surprises me and I have new entry from “Mibo”. Of course there are thousands for sale in my favourite shops. Ask me and I can give you the best web sites!
Or if you made some and you’d like to advertise it, email me, it’s free for all my followers.

Felt Animal Ornaments How-To

Here's another idea for your Christmas tree from Martha Stewart:

1. Print templates. (You can reduce or enlarge the templates to fit your tree. We enlarged the templates at 200 percent and 225 percent.) Cut out two versions of each template, one following the outline and the other omitting the black details (use fine-tip scissors for the interior cutouts).

2. On top of light-colored felt, such as cream or eggshell, pin the outline template, and trace it with a disappearing-ink pen. Remove template, and cut out. On a colored piece of felt, pin and trace the detailed template twice. Cut out: Use fine-tip scissors for interior cutouts and a Japanese hole punch to create the eyes and the hole for hanging.

3. Lightly brush craft glue onto the back sides of colored-felt pieces; sandwich the light-colored piece in between. Let dry flat.

4. Hang from a length of silver thread, knotting at top.
Enjoy!

Provence - my favourite cafe and hotel

I could continue for a while with colors... I have green...white ...purple... but I decided to add practical info on where to stay and where to have a nice cup of tea ( with cake of course) in case you go past Provence and you miss it. The best hotel I stayed in is the Hôtel Rêves d'Ocres in Roussilon. A nice charming hotel also very cheap compare to the prices you can pay there...
Below you can find the complete address and links to book the room.
Hôtel Rêves d'Ocres 2-star Hotel Route de Gordes, 84220 Roussillon

Another place I'd recommend is Thé Mandarine, a nice little cafe just on top of a cute shop where you can find typical French decorations. Not only the location is great but also the quality of food and drinks. Fresh fruits Tarts and mint ice tea are a must.

My Pink and Blue Holidays part 1: Mallorca

Here's a little glimpse of Mallorca (one of the biggest Spanish Islands) I got told that it was full of tourists (true), full of pubs (true) and all build up (true) but only if you stay in the travel agents areas... I managed to find PINK buildings and a great BLUE sea!!!!

..and unique places to visit, like the capital (Palma) a mix of stiles and great places to have a drink in, the up-country, a nest of windmills, farms and tiles everywhere. If you are going there don't hesitate to ask me for advice or for more pics but make sure you have a car booked!
Hope you like it!

HOLIDAY TIME

Hello, I'm off to Mallorca, Spain in few days. I really need some time to spend with my family!
We booked a cheap flight, a car and a studio.
Well, I hope to find it like this picture :-) I won't be doing any work on my blog for a week so I hope to see you here when I get back. Ciao!
