Part of it was from working on a project that will be announced in the Spring. Part of it is the kids in school and volunteering for TWO classrooms and heading up TWO of the committees on PTA. A lot more of the time goes to all the homemaker stuff-sometimes I wish I could just not feed my family and they could all be naked. I feel like 99% of my time is spent doing laundry and being in the kitchen cooking/cleaning.
The last couple of months, every spare moment has been spent drawing. Doodling if you will. Lots of doodles. Placing lines just right and filling in pages...Then grouping all the pages together to publish a coloring book. My first coloring book!!!!
And now it's available! That's right! I hand drew a coloring book and self published it, and now you can buy it on Amazon.com and Amazon Europe!!! What?!??! Yep! Just in time for Christmas and I know everyone has seen at least one article about the benefits that coloring has on mental health.

ReplyDeleteLyssa, you are such a talented young woman. I love the sample pics of your colouring book. I have just gotten into adult colouring books and I have just purchased a dozen of them. My question is why is it not available on amazon.ca? I am from Canada and amazon.com does not deliver to Canada. As for the one in Europe, I don't know if it does. I would like to keep my money in Canada whenever possible. This is only to be expected. Can you make it available on the Canadian amazon site?

DeleteLyssa, I just ordered your book from the UK Amazon. Thought you would like to know. Looking forward to getting it. If you do print another adult colouring book, perhaps you could get a publisher who deals with Canada. We, in Canada, do buy lots of books. It would be nice if you could draw one up with just miniature scenes from your dollhouses. I think that would sell very well. I have lots of those colouring books. I am very big on fashion books and I have one of Victorian houses and one depicting the interior of a Victorian house. It's a beautiful book. I love to colour interiors. Well, it's an idea that I'm giving you but I think it would sell.
