Thought I'd try painting green grapes today.  It was more difficult to capture translucency with this type of grape but the challenge was fun.

In an effort to paint more I decided to join the 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge hosted by Leslie Saeta.  This is the fruit of my labor for today!  I'm looking forward to keeping my brush wet.  Let the fun begin!

Crab Apple

I picked this apple while attending a plein air landscape class at Bayonet Farm in New Jersey. The colors of the fruit are so beautiful, I just had to paint it. Available on Ebay.
