Sleding at Christmastime at All Dressed Up Stamps

It's our last Challenge of 2023 at All Dressed Up Stamps and this is the card I made in anticipation of that, using the image "Sledging Fun".  (We say Sleding, the British say Sledging) Whichever way you say it, it means FUN!.  Coloring her and her deer in Christmas Colors, I used the curve of the snowbank behind her to add some paper-piecing.

Using some paper from The Paper Studio with snowflakes, I die cut each piece and then aligned them up-I love the effect!

The sentiment is from my stash.  As a finishing touch. I flecked white acrylic paint over the card using my fan brush.

The Design Team will be taking the month of January off  for a break but can't wait to see you again in February for more fun and new images!

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Festive Ideas over at All Dressed Up November Challenge!

For the Challenge over at All Dressed Up Stamps this month, I was able to use the beautiful image, "Angel Wings".  I love how feminine, soft and "Angelic!" she is-was a dream to color.

I used a piece of light yellow Mulberry paper - ya'll remember using that back in the day?- placed over a medium tone of blue paper.  This was so you could see the swirls of the fibers-made me think that the breezes in Heaven would be like these...I elevated her using dimensional dots for some depth.  I used Liquid Pearls, Nova Dots, and Stickles for her Crown and Blue Epoxy Dots for accents. For the inside, another sentiment on pine cone paper which I colored random cones and pine needles for interest.

We would love to see everyone join in our monthly Challenge and inspire us with your projects!  These are individually voted on, not a random draw, and you could win some images for your creating!  Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Thanks, Carolyn

Winter Weather and Christmas Pets at All Dressed Up

Looks like this young man is getting in the Christmas Spirit, using "Christmas Pet" digital image from All Dressed Up Stamp company.  He's giving his dog an early Holiday bone and he's got his Reindeer wooly cap on. The chilly weather must be coming even though he's got his coveralls and sweatshirt on-even the dog's got a Santa hat on.  I also cut out mittens and used a chipboard sentiment to complete the card.
I love using copic markers for my coloring; also using distress inks and blending brushes for the backgrounds.  I have a cobblestone stencil that I love to use from a company called "Clearlybesotted"-it's great!  The inside of the 6x6 card is also finished with a festive paper and a note from a sentiment page.
We hope that you will visit our happy home at ADU--There are so many digital images for the Seasons and Occasions.  All unique and beautiful.

New Release time at All Dressed Up Stamps-using Christmas Theme

It won't be long before Christmas is right around the corner!  Oh My!  Thank goodness for All Dressed Up Stamps and their digital images such as the one I used for this card.  I'm using "Sledging Time", a cute little boy and his dogs pulling his sled.
I used multiple copic markers for their coloring and a water-based white Sharpie marker for the snow.  Matted with a cranberry curvy mat, red berry branched background paper and stamped with a winter sentiment.

I always like to finish the inside of my cards so on this one I used the same cranberry background and used one of sentiment "postcard" size that are so popular now~ you know there are usually 6/8 or more on a 12 x 12 textured paper.  I accented it with 2 wooden trees.  All it needs is your personal note and it's ready.

Hope you have a chance to see all the new releases and come and create with us at All Dressed Up Stamps!

Winter is a time for Skating at All Dressed Up Stamps

It's time for the new month long Challenge over at All Dressed Up Stamps!!!  Hope you are all staying snug and warm in your homes, crafting away.  Perfect time for you to join us!

The way Wendy Burns, our artist in residence, makes her figures so graceful that they are a joy to color.  This image is called Christmas Skater and can be found here.  I used Copics to color, a pine needle die cut for corner accents, paper and a stamp from my stash, and Radient Neon Amplify for the snow drops.  This medium, when heated after applying, will puff up but will be white when done, instead of a cream color!  On the inside, I finished it with some double sided paper from Echo Park and a great stamp for just about anything!
Hope you'll come over to our CHALLENGE and inspire us in the New Year.  It's a great way to win 3 images from the Shop!
