There are so many uses for this image! One of Sherri Baldy's Big Eyed Besties, cuddling up with 3 adorable Koala Bears! I just love how her red hair turned out!! Sherri always has such beautiful cascades of hair on her images -love 'em!
I colored her with copics-am still not very good with animal fur so often resort to little dots for some texture. Love the ombre blue hearts against the red shiny hair. The backside of this P e r f e c t design paper is a washed blue so it made a perfect complimentary mat for the image. I've been wanting to use some of the lace appliques I recently purchased online, cutting them apart to make them fit the space. Think they make the cards oh so feminine.
On the inside, I used some paper in the same blue with some script that looks like Love Letters and is accented with blue hearts!
We hope that you'll visit Sherri's Store to find just the right image for your special gift or project!

A Day for Daisies is sponsoring "Things With Wings" at Come and Get It Challenge!
I had such fun with this Come And Get It challenge and the image I used from A Day for Daisies is titled "Birds for Bree". The images at this site are so whimsical and "clean/elegant" that it makes them very easy to color! The THEME for this Challenge is Things With Wings!
I kept the coloring simple, Summery. I love blue birds and gave their wings a coating of blue Wink of Stella. I matted the image with kraft and then peach dp. The Stamp is from a great set at KKS and says "You Lift Me Up". I had this Great paper with bird houses, birds, nests, and tree limbs all over it and placed her matted image on a branch so to speak. I used this unique Vine "ribbon" from my local SBS- it's made from woven material with veined leaves-glued down with Zig 2-way glue. On that ribbon, I placed several nature embellies: Owl, dragonfly and ladybug--see if you spot them! On the inside liner, I used the peach speckled paper and then a draft label die cut from my stash. The stamp on the inside page is a friendship stamp from my collection. We hope that you will want to stop in and play with us for this Challenge. We can't wait to see your creations!

New DT Opportunity at My Besties UK Team! It's time for SAME BUT DIFFERENT! It's a Winner for me!!
I'm so honored to be asked to join the Design Team of My Besties UK Group! This is my first card with them and I can't tell you how I agonized over every Copic Stroke that I made~I just wanted it to be perfect you see!
The 15th of every month we post our creations, each of us using the same image but with our own Flair added! Thus the title "Same But Different". The Winner of that My Besties UK Challenge will get the Image we use FREE! I decided to work with red and tried to get the depth into the flower. For me, it's a difficult color to truly get accurate. After working for hours on the coloring, I double matted Img 933 Valentine. mounted it on a cut-back card front-hoping you can see on the insert picture. Added a brushed silver dragonfly brad in the corner and faceted jet black bling in the corner. The inside has a complimentary liner of patterned tone on tone design paper, a flourish sticker to accent the white ink stamped sentiment.
I think it will make a great card for a friend of mine-she will Love the Big eyed Girl image from Sherri Baldy! Make sure you come back for the main My Besties UK Challenge on the 1st of every month, and watch for the theme, where

Craft Your Passion~Always Anything Goes Challenge~ Sponsored by Julia Spiri-CHALLENGE WINNER & Top 5!
For the second image I used The Little Dragonfly from Julia Spiri and just love the way she turned out! This image is a very popular one from her store and she's so delicate looking!
I
think fairies looks so interesting in colored hair-pulled out a
technique from the past where you show a lighter shade of the color
through the wings to help with the transparency effect of the wings,
which have a coating of Diamond Stickles over them. Tried the split
look of 2 different design papers which is so totally different for me!
A matted stamped sentiment and a cluster of wood, paper, and prima
flowers with rhinestone centers and die cuts balance off the corners.
The inside of the card is finished off with another stamped sentiment. We look forward to you joining us over at the Craft Your Passion Challenge blog!

Baby Boy Congratulations Card using Doodle Pantry!!
As accents, I used pastel blue dew drops and rayon seam binding. This seam binding was originally in a dusty blue but I like to make it vintage looking sooo to do that, I cut a long length, place in a plastic bag, I spritz it with walnut ink, wad it up into a ball and seal up the bag. Later I take out the very kinked up "ribbon" and let it air dry, still in the loose pile. You get a very variegated ribbon and it looks very vintage. The inside shows another paper, one of the included sentiments and a cute pewter dragonfly brad.

I'm so ready for Spring & the Next Squigglefly Challenge
Can you tell by the coloring I'm using in my "SF Digi & Sentiment" Challenge at Squigglefly that, I'M SOO READY FOR SPRING. The cute image I'm using is by Cheryl Alger called First Love and I'm using a perfect sentiment for this Birthday Card from the collection called My Punny Valentines 4 by Lynne Stansbery. This saying actually pairs with an electric fan--get it?? I accented the card with some over-sized eyelets and a embossed dragonfly brad.
If you use a Squigglefly image, you are placed in the random drawing for a free image from the SF shop. Can't beat that!
