'Distress it' at Polka Doodles

Eindelijk nog eens een kaart voor Polka Doodles!! Deze keer is het thema 'distress it'. Als Design Team Member maakte ik deze kerstkaart. De afbeelding en het papier komen van de Magical Winter Part 1 cd-rom! Op de cd-rom staat ook een 'tutorial' voor Promakers. Dus kleurde ik dit schattige vogeltje in met mijn nieuwste Promarkers uit de Polka Doodles Shop. Een beetje 'glimmer mist' op de kaart, en klaar! Doen jullie ook mee met de challenge? Veel succes!

At last a card for Polka Doodles! The new theme is 'distress it'! As a Desing Team Member I made this Christmas card.  Lots of inspiration on the Magical Winter Part 1 cd-rom! I printed out this cute birdie and coloured it with Promarkers from the Polka Doodles Shop! All papers are from this great cd-rom! I added some Glimmer Mist for the 'distress look'. Beary Cold!

Hier is mijn eerste kerstkaart! Het beertje en het papier kan je op de Magical Winter 2 cd-rom vinden! Om het beertje in te kleuren, gebruikte ik de Zig Art and Graphic Twin pens van Kuretake. Een beetje inkt van de pen vermengen met water, en je kan beginnen inkleuren/inschilderen. Deze techniek is héél leuk! De cd-rom en pennen kan je in de Polka Doodles Shop vinden!

Met Robbe gaat het prima. Volgende week vrijdag start de 2de chemo-cyclus. We (Robbe en ik) verblijven dan 5 dagen in het UZ Gent.

Here is my first chrismas-card! The cute bear and the papers are from the Magical Winter 2 cd-rom. I coloured the image with my new Zig Art and Graphic Twin pens from Kuretake. Just ink from the pens and some water, and you can colour/paint the image! A fun technique! You can find the cd-rom and pens at the Polka Doodles Shop.

Robbe is doing fine! Next friday, the 2nd chemo-cyclus is starting. Robbe and I will stay 5 days at the hospital at that time.

My Home for Polka Doodles!

Als Designs Team Member voor Polka Doodles, mocht ik deze week een thema kiezen. De vakantie is net begonnen... weekje Oostenrijk, naar de Belgische Kust,... Maar ik ben steeds weer zo tevreden als ik 'thuis' kom. Dus mijn keuze is een 'huis'-thema... nieuw huis, verhuizen, vogelhuis,... Male Theme and BLOG HOP at Polka Doodles! (you can win a cd-rom!!)

Polka Doodles Challenge is going to be a bit different this week. The regular challenge is 'Male Themed'. But... we also have a blog hop! You will need to hop in order as the words that you collect will form a sentence with an instruction on.

Vorige week kwam ik tijdens het blog-hoppen de blog van Jacq tegen. Ze onwerpt superleuke digi's! Kijk maar eens bij The Poodles Digi Doodles. 'Stashbox Stamps & Colour Theme' at Polka Doodles

Polka Doodles heeft weer een leuke challenge!! Gebruik de kleuren aqua, blauw en paars én een stempel. Als Design Team Member maakte ik deze kaart met een Alice In Wonderland stempel van de Wonderland Rubber Stamps-reeks. Het bijpassende achtergrondpapier komt van de Wonderland cd-rom. Veel knutselplezier!!

Polka Doodles has a great new challenge!! You can use any shade of aqua, blue and purple. The twist is, you MUST use all three colours on your project. This is our Stashbox Stamp week, so dig out your favourite rubber stamps and get set to join us in our challenge. Winnie (+ Design Team Call)

De Double Sprinkles Of Kraft cd-rom is super om mee te werken! Ik printte een zwart-wit afbeelding van Winnie (het schattige uiltje), volgde de promarker-tutorial om de afbeelding in te kleuren, printte mooi kraft papier... en dit is dan het eindresultaat! De cd-rom is het resultaat van een mooie samenwerking tussen Nikky Hall (Polka Doodles) en Sharon Armstrong.Sharon , de ontwerpster van Winnie, is op zoek naar Design Team Members voor haar Willow Sketchie Challenge!

The Double Sprinkles Of Kraft cd-rom is so fun to work with! I printed a black/white image from Winnie (the cute owl), followed the promarker-tutorial to colour the image, printed some great kraft papers... and here's my card! Nikki Hall (Polka Doodles) and Sharon Armstrong worked together for this lovely cd-rom! Sharon , the designer of Winnie, is looking for Design Team Members for her Willow Sketchie Challenge!

Something new...! - Iets nieuw...!

Iets nieuws... Ik heb voor 't eerst met Promarkers gewerkt!! Op de allernieuwste Polka Doodles cd-rom, A Double Sprinkle of Kraft cd-rom, staan 10 'lessen' voor Promarkers. Sharon Armstrong is de ontwerpster van de 'Winnie Owl'. Op de cd-rom staan er vele van haar uiltjes én dan ook nog de 'promarker lessen' van Sharon. Stap voor stap kleur je je uiltje in... en het resultaat is prachtig! Al de gebruikte kleuren kan je terugvinden in de Promarkers Sprinkles set 1 en set2. Het achtergronpapier en de bloempjes komen ook van de A Double Sprinkle of Kraft cd-rom. Oh ja, Sharon heeft een Design Team Call voor haar challenge blog Willow Sketchie Challenge. Neem daar zeker eens een kijkje!

Yes, something new for me... my first work with Promarkers! At the new A Double Sprinkle of Kraft cd-rom, there are 10 'promarker colouring tutorials' from Sharon Armstrong. I'm so in love...

Ja, ik ben helemaal verliefd.... op de nieuwe A Double Sprinkle of Kraft cd-rom! :) Nikky Hall van Polkadoodles en Sharon Armstrong (ontwerpster van de schattige uiltjes) hebben samen een superleuke cd-rom uitgebracht! Uiltjes, bloemen, vlinders, een alfabet,... en dan nog héél veel mooi achtergrondpapier, promarker-les van Sharon (mijn promarkers zijn in bestelling!), ... Zoveel moois en zoveel leuks, en dat allemaal op één cd-rom! Ik moest er natuurlijk meteen mee aan de slag! En wat dachten jullie van mijn laars-kaart? De laars heb ik 'uit de losse hand' getekend. Al het papier, figuurtjes, tekst,... komen van de A Double Sprinkle of Kraft cd-rom natuurlijk! :)

Yes, I'm so in love... with the new A Double Sprinkle of Kraft cd-rom! Nikky Hall (from Polkadoodles) and Sharon Armstrong (the owl-designer) made this super cd-rom together! Owls, flowers, alfabeths,... and a great promarker tutorial from Sharon (I ordered promarkers, waiting now!)...and lots of backgroundpapers, sentiments,... and so much more!! All on 1 cd-rom!And here's my first card! I made a large boot. All papers, owls and sentiment... right, from the new cd-rom, of course!

Spring at Polka Doodles! - Lente bij Polka Doodles!

'Lente' is het nieuwe thema bij Polka Doodles! Als Design Team member maakte ik deze vrolijke kaart, met een stempel van The Laurence Collection. Het papier en de tekst komen van de Sundae Of Seasons cd-rom uit de Polka Doodles Shop. Eén keer per maand combineren de Design Team Members een stempel uit hun eigen voorraad met het Polka Doodles materiaal. Zo zie je maar hoe veelzijdig de Polka Doodles cd-roms kunnen zijn!! :) Hopelijk doe jij ook mee met de challenge? Je bent niet verplicht om Polka Doodles te gebruiken... maar het is wel superleuk materiaal hoor! :)



'Spring' is the new theme at Polka Doodles. As a Design Team Member, I made this bright card. I used a stamp from the Laurence Collection and all the papers and the sentiment are from the Sundae Of Seasons cd-rom from the Polka Doodles Shop. Once a month, the Design Team Members are using their own stash in combination with Polka Doodles products. So you can see how versatile Polka Doodles is! I hope you'll join our challenge! It's not obligatory to use Polka Doodles products. (But the products are sooo fun to work with, maybe you should give it a try :))

Polkadoodles Challenge heeft deze week een superleuke challenge!! Volg de sketch (naar eigen interpretatie) en gebruik blauw-rood-wit. Als Design Team Member maakte ik deze schattige kaart. Het hondje komt van de gloednieuwe Paper Boutique Volume III cd-rom. Een cd-rom vol toffe projecten! Wat dacht je van een nijlpaard in bad, een raket, hondjes, ...? 'T Was The Night Before Christmas' at Polka Doodles

Polka Doodles Challenge zoekt deze week inspiratie in het gedicht van Clement Moore, 'T Was The Night Before Christmas'. Als Design Team Member maakte ik een vrolijke kaart en een mini-kerstlaars. Ik printte het gedicht uit, gebruikte achtergrondpapier en al ingekleurde figuurtjes van de Jingle Jangle Christmas cd-rom. Deze superleuke cd-rom kan je in de Polka Doodles Shop vinden!
