Sounds like the name of a story in a book of fables, doesn't it? Pasha is actually just the name of this hat I finished knitting late last night. I'm quite proud of how it turned out, actually fitting my head and my first lacework with no mistakes in it. I used my favorite yarn of the moment again, Madeline Tosh Pashmina, in graphite. This one will be getting lots of wear.
Isn't that fabric it's sitting on gorgeous? It's a Nani Iro cotton/linen print that is currently being chopped up and made into a clutch (the market bags just aren't looking too sexy for toting around to dinners out).
And please forgive the terrible self-portrait-in-the-bathroom, but here is me and my giant growing belly. At only 15 and a half weeks, I realize this is REALLY big. I'm already getting tired of hearing "are you sure there's not twins in there?" quips. Nope, only one. One big baby, that hopefully won't top ten pounds at birth!
My other big baby is in bed so I'm off now to continue my super sewing blitz - but check back Friday for a GIVEAWAY!!!
oh people are just rude! I think you look adorable :-) And the hat is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteLove the hat! And don't worry about the belly, you have a cutie growing in there. :)
ReplyDeleteAwe, you look amazing! Your shapely belly does make me wonder if you're futher along or something, but hey...maybe you're just so amazingly thin that you show faster! =) and that photo is not bad, you look great! =)
ReplyDeleteNice hat too!
Love your hat, and you look lovely! Ignore those crazy peeps, who for some reason are always the rudest to pregnant people... I wonder why that is?
ReplyDeleteI don't think you look big AT ALL, just nicely pregnant. YOU are glowing!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're looking so lovely! And the hat is great as well. :)
ReplyDeletei looked that big at 12 weeks lol. By six months I looked like I had ate another pregnant woman. LOL Just one big healthy baby girl!
ReplyDeleteThat hat is awesome! And pashmina, isn't it divine?? You look great - takes a lot of work to grow a little person:)
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! Big bellies use to calm down towards the end.
ReplyDeleteYour pasha looks great, as does your honey cowl! And you look just gorgeous Megan-darling!
ReplyDeleteWhen will people learn that the only appropriate thing to say to a pregnant woman is "You look great!" Anything else is just not appreciated.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm a little more sensitive to this as I'm 13 1/2 weeks pregnant myself! :)
And the hat looks great!
Gorgeous bump! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! My first was 9 lbs 4 oz and I looked big for my 2nd and was really surprised when she was only 6lbs 12 oz!
ReplyDeleteThe hat is lovely as is your cowl - mine isn't done yet!! Um, you are reminding of my sister who had people saying what you are hearing about her belly (pregnancy #1, though)!! She discovered twins about 2 weeks before her twins were born (3 weeks early)!! So, have your technician look carefully!!! You look great, by the way! (I had twins my second pregnancy - and my belly looked like that at 12 weeks.....
ReplyDeleteAnd what a darling and stylish belly it is--if only we could all look that good.
