Okay....so the random photos of our fruit trees are there because my mom just took a pruning class and wanted to give me some tips. The plan was to prune on Saturday, but then it snow about 2 inches and was blowing somethin' fierce!
Let me see if I can update anyone who reads this. Connor and Evan are playing basketball. It's been pretty fun to watch them compete on a team. They have a lot of fun with their friends. They got their report cards and did AWESOME! Now the plan is to head to Chucky Cheese's where they earn free tokens for good grades! We will probably go when we head off track. Connor has been working on getting the family a free meal at Applebee's. Every time he receives 100% on his YPP tests he gets a certificate for a free kids meal. I think he has about 6 or 7. He's bummed that mom and dad don't get a free meal too. :)
Maya did mini cheer again. She loves to be the star of the show. She was the best performer in her age group. At 3yrs old she knew the routine and followed along great! All the cheerleaders were impressed! She likes to show us her cheer moves all the time. Way to go!! (At the game we sat by the pep band and Evan was eyeing the drum player with a Mohawk and said, "Mom, I think I want some drums for Christmas!" And began thrashing his head to the beat. That kid is too funny!)
Anyways....Isaac is walking along furniture. He is growing more teeth (four all together) and saying a few things like "uh oh" and he can sing "We will rock you!" We'll have to get it on tape so we have proof. It's pretty cute. The wonderful thing is that the kid has found a happy sleeping place!!!!!!!!! He would love to sleep with mom and dad, however, that is inconvenient and annoying. First we tried him in his pack-n-play in our closet. Nice and quiet and dark where no siblings could bother him. That got old because we wanted our closet back too. So now he is in the pack-n-play in with Maya in her room. Maya has to sleep on the top bunk in the boys room so she doesn't distract him, but it works!!! The kid LOVES his bed. WHAT A BLESSING!
I don't have too many funny stories. I am too tired from daylight savings and I need to get to bed. I am excited though, for MARCH MADNESS!!!!! The Lowders are all heading to town and we are going to the sweet sixteen and the elite eight! Jealous anyone....well, you should be. We know how to have a good time. Wish me luck on my bracket and send any tips my way. I'd really like to win because I am with all of this viscious competitors!!!

Bench Widow
Well, for those of you who don't know...Ryan got called as 1st counselor in the Bishopric in our newly created Highbury ward. He is excited to serve and looks forward to working with a lot of great people. A week after he received the call he said to me, "Oh, I guess this means you'll be sitting alone on the bench!" HELLO!!!! That is the FIRST thing I thought of! Any of you who sympathize, or want to help, we will be shooting to head out the door for church at 10:40am for our 11am sacrament mtg. (If I tell myself 10:40 then hopefully I will make it there with maybe a minute to spare, pending a blowout or meltdown!) We love the Lord and are happy to serve!!
