Prefect Investiture

15 Apr 2016 (Friday):

Rachel has been chosen to become a prefect and her rehearsal is as per below. Too bad parents were not invited to the investiture/ceremony.

She came back and proudly showed me her prefect badge, and told me her prefect duties are every Monday.

I told her even as a prefect, she is not allowed to abuse her authority and must always show care and concern. Everyone is equal.

But I believe Rachel has the right qualities since Kindergarten. Her teacher has always commented she is helpful and kind, shows and exercises responsibility and helps take care of younger children.

P3 / P5 8th Annual Sports Meet

01 Apr 2016 (Fri):

The P3s & P5s had their sports day this morning at Yishun Sports Stadium.  Rachel was not selected to take part in the race, so she was at the stand cheering her house on.

On the other hand, Lionel took part in the 8 x 50m relay and they came in 2nd.

Prize Giving Ceremony 2015 - P2

20 Nov 2015 (Fri):

I specifically took the last of my last annual leave for year 2015 just to attend this important event.

Rachel has been been awarded the Outstanding Pupil Award for 2015. This is her 2nd time she has been awarded this award. The 1st was in 2014 when she was in P1.

Knowing Daddy will be late since he had to work, I do not want to risk not attending this event. Though I need only apply for a half day leave but I would prefer to go back home after this ceremony to pack our luggages for another trip.

Coming back from Taiwan and leaving for another vacation within a week... This is madness! Haha...But I am loving it!

The day before, Lionel's MT teacher called me and asked if i gave my permission to allow Lionel to take part in the event. I said ok.
