OLW 155 - SILHOUETTE
I made this card for One Layer Wednesday and the subject was silhouettes. I just purchased this new stamp and this was the perfect time to use it. Karen's water-colored silhouette cards are very inspiring. In reading the design team's blogs Linda's directions made it easy for me and allowed me to use some old SU! stamp pads.
I cut a mask using Nestabilities Curved Rectangle and placed it over Whisper White cardstock. First I stamped Buckaroo Blue ink on the bottom of the masked portion of the card and then I used Soft Sky. The bridge was stamped in Versafine and heat embossed. The verbiage was stamped and heat embossed after the mask was removed.
Paper - SU! Whisper White
Ink - SU! Buckaroo Blue, Soft Sky and Versafine
Die - Stampabilities Curved Rectangles (for masking)
Stamps - Art Impressions (bridge), SU! (verbiage

Wow, this card is beautiful! I started "acquiring" retired SU! stamps and can't wait to use them.
