I decided to keep my pages simple so I could get a few done this weekend. My goal is to finish 2010 by the end of May... but I'm not holding my breath on that one ;)
Jillibean
Soup patterned paper (Sweet & Sour and Monster Stew), alphas, stickers and buttons. Other: Sassafras flowers, Maya Road zipper trim, WRMK baker's twine, Bic marker, Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, Colorbok cardstock and unknown chipboard tag. I arranged my title on the black cardstock then hand cut around it to make the shadow.

Pool Party
This LO was for the Cosmo Cricket element challenge, but I didn't get it finished in time...
Cosmo Cricket - Snorkel - papers and stickers, Core'dinations cardstock, Thickers, Bic marker.
UPDATE: Apparently I was not paying attention to the next challenge, because this LO fit the "Something old" category like a glove. My page was showcased on the Cosmo Cricket blog here.

Owl birthday cards
Here are a couple of cards I made with Jillibean Soup Spotted Owl Soup:
Other: Jillibean Soup card base, SRM sticker, American Crafts cardstock, unknown ribbon. The second card is based on the Sketches: Creatively Yours card sketch #412 by Ann Seleshanko:
I rotated the sketch 90 degrees and added an extra layer in the background.

Magic found
I've had a layout sitting on my craft table for over a week now. Trimming the photos and deciding where to place them was easy, but I picked paper for them 3 times. Five days ago I figured out exactly what I want to do, but it's still not finished. And it's not a lack of free time. I've been reading non-stop -- I found a book I liked two weeks ago and I'm dashing through the series.
Magic Lost, Trouble Found by Lisa Shearin was not only entertaining but down right captivating. I was hooked on the first page and I just couldn't put it down. I haven't felt that compelled to read into the night since I read the Twilight saga. Not even the Hunger Games kept me up that late. I'm glad I bought Magic on my Kindle because I was able to get the second book Armed & Magical as soon as I finished the first. The same was true for the next two, The Trouble with Demons and Bewitched & Betrayed.
I'm now halfway through Con & Conjure and I'm sure it won't last until All Spell Breaks Loose comes out on May 29... so there might be some crafty projects showing up in the next weeks.

Farewell
Today is inspiration day on the SP Stamps blog. For my card I used the All Zipped Up stamp set:
Other: Jillibean Soup card base and patterned paper (Sweet & Sour Soup), and Canvas Corp chalk stock tag from The Card Kitchen January 2011 kit; wood button from the November 2011 kit; Stampin' Up! cardstock (Very Vanilla); American Crafts sheer ribbon; Lilybee alpha stickers; EK Success edge punch; Glossy Accents.
I hope you get a chance to check out all the inspiration on the SP Stamps blog! This is my last project as a member of the SP&Co. design team. It's been a lot of fun and I'm sure I'll keep playing with these amazing stamps in the future. Thanks Sami for this great experience!

Swim Class
This layout is for the PageMaps' My Scraps & More sketch contest:
I used Basic Gray (Life of the Party) papers and buttons, Maya Road star pins and mini kraft calendar, and Doodlebug fancy frills from the Apron Strings May'11 STBB kit. Alphabets: DCWV Stitch In Time Rub-Ons, Sassafras, and Lilybee. I colored the inside of the rub-on letters with Ranger Distress ink (Frayed Burlap) and a Stampin' Up! blender pen. Other: SP&Co. Journal This stamp set, Martha Stewart edge punch, WRMK floss and Sew Easy piercer (Zig Zag), Jillibean Soup corrugated frame, unknown cardstock, SU! ink pad and stamp marker (Cherry Cobbler). I used the SU! color spritzer tool to "mist" the marker. This LO is based on the following PageMap by Becky Fleck:
As you can see, I stretched the sketch to make a 2-pager and included more photos. I played with the photo position, but kept most of the other elements the same. I decided to add the big title because I felt there was too much "white space."

Today is inspiration day on the SP Stamps blog. For my card I used the Large Polka Dots Background stamp and the Round Sentiments I stamp set.
I used My Mind's Eye papers (Holly Jolly and Lost & Found Christmas); Creative Impressions silk ribbon (Celery); Jillibean Soup sugar pick (red/brown); Stampin' Up! cardstock (Very Vanilla) and ink (Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake). I glued down the prickly tip of the pin with a tiny drop of Glossy Accents -- subtle and purposeful -- I love pins but I always worry about the receiver getting hurt when opening the card :)
