Random Summer Pics!

Sadly, I have neglected to post these pics from the summer! Here they are for your viewing pleasure:-)

This is from Father's Day!!! We have decided to become a camping family, though we have not done it thus far.  We thought we would wait until it cooled off, but now our weekend are packed with sports, parties and school events.  Eventually we will try it out!

And, I just thought this was a pretty pic!  We had a Super Moon at some point in the summer.  I managed to get a clear shot!

 

Apples!!

This past weekend, we took the boys and some friends on a small road trip to the beautiful mountains to pick apples!! Everyone had a blast, and the weather kind of cooperated.  I am now the proud owner of about 35 pounds of apples...they are currently sitting in my garage haunting me!

They had a bamboo forest that was perfect shelter from the rain that moved in. I am pretty sure that none of it survived the boys.

The orchard is Sky Top Apple Orchard in Flat Rock, NC.  Lyndon and I are considering going into the apple business after seeing the amount of people visiting on this one day.  And, can I just tell you that they had WARM apple donuts for sale.  Those sucked...:-)
