I hope you are enjoying the hop. My project today is this home decor piece. It's fun and easy to make. I used products from A Maker's Studio I feel in love with these products. I became an affiliate with the company. Let's get started...
I picked up the wooden pumpkin sign up at Hobby Lobby I lightly sanded it just to make sure it's smooth.
Then I applied the Gel Stain from A Maker's Studio. You can see all the colors that are offered here. I love using this Gel Stain because it doesn't have an VOC's (Bad Chemicals) I DON'T need to go outside to use it. It actually has essential oils in it so it smells like a dream. It's easy to use
After it dries I like to use the mesh stencils. Here I'm using The Pumpkin Patch mesh stencil on this project. What's so nice of these mesh stencils is that they are reusable and you can use them on all kinds of surfaces: Paper, chalkboards, glass, wood, mirrors and so much more. I'm using ChalkArt which is a Chalk paste that is washable. It dries and stay's put and when you are ready to change your decor just wet it and it wipes away.
You apply the ChalkArt by using a squeegee to and you push the the Chalkart through the screen and then you pull the mesh stencil and just like that you have a masterpiece!
Thank you for stopping by today. If you have any questions I would love to hear from you. Enjoy the rest of the hop.
