Live, Learn, Love blog is a way for us to show others what we enjoy and what works for us. We share a lot of books (children and adult), recipes, products, crafts, and ideas. I'd like to say that this is a well-rounded blog, covering a variety of subjects, but maybe it's just crazy variety.
We are a family of four living in rural Pennsylvania. Derek and Annette are the parents to a daughter, M, age 4, and our son, E, age 2.
M is probably a typical four year old...challenging us as her parents with the way we discipline and love. She has pretty much overcome a speech disorder called apraxia. We spend a lot of time reading together. Now that M is in preschool, we don't do crafts on a regular basis, but we do enjoy them!
E is the little brother always imitating his big sister. Like M, he is pretty typical. He loves to run and dance, scream and chase. It can be pretty crazy at times. E takes medication twice a day to prevent seizures after a three hour seizure in October 2009. So far, so good!
We are expecting another baby in October. This will be our third October baby!
Derek is my husband. He has a passion for sports...watching and playing. Derek is still an involved dad and husband.
I am a former elementary school teacher. Though I loved teaching, I love being home with my children. It's natural for me to want to teach them, though I have no official experience teaching preschoolers. The blogging world has been great for me since it is where I get many ideas and inspirations for our crafts. I love reading, though I find audio books are even better so that I can multi-task...and attempt to get those dishes done!
We are truly blessed. God has brought us through some difficult times, and we are certain of our hope in Him.
I'm Annette...the writer on Live, Learn, Love. Thanks for taking the time to read about us. Feel free to ask any questions you might have about us or about a post you might read.
