Beach Thank You Gift Set

Hi Everyone,
Sandy here with a project I worked on last weekend. I haven't been crafting in quite a while, but really enjoyed putting this set together.

Maja Design's gorgeous Summertime collection inspired me to make a sea-inspired gift set.
The card is a shaker card.
The card base is Pion Design's cardstock, Blue III.
Inside the window panel I used one of the newest arrivals to the store, a Thank You chipboard from Wycinanka. The shaking material is from my stash (Sue Weinberg's Beadazzles).
Love the seagrass rope, it makes excellent frames, so of course I had to include it; I toned it down a bit with gesso and glued on some small nassa shells (aren't they adorable?!).

Trimwise I've used the shabby ruffle lace "Shabbylicious" with some pearltrim, a bit of seambidning and to the centre of the bow I added one of new beautiful lace flowers.
The base here is obviously the kraft bottle bag itself. The bag is rather long, so I'll admit straight away that I cheated with this picture. In order to actually see the top of the bottle, one needs to have the bottle standing on something inside the bag. :-)

I used three different images from the "By the Sea" diecut sheet and they've all been placed inside Wycinanka chipboard frames. It's the Apple Blossom Set, which consists of 3 frames, so it was perfect for the purpose!

There are loads of trims and decorations on the bag, so I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves:
Thanks so much for stopping by.
I hope you like my little project. :-)
Enjoy the weekend!

Gone Green & Introducing Wycinanka

Hi crafters,
it's been months again since I last posted anything I've made myself, but hold on to your hats, today I've got something to share. :-)  Now; green is not my go to colour, but it makes a nice change from pink and blue cards, don't ya think?!
The paper I've used here (both front and back) is "Apple Blossom 12x12" from Pion Design's discontinued collection "A Day in May". In case you haven't heard (or seen) I'm currently doing a SPRING CLEANING SALE and the "A Day in May 12x12"collection is 40% off!!!
A Day in May 6x6 you can buy at 45% discount.

On the pretty paper I stencilled with some texture paste.
The bird's nest I made with some sisal.
The white flowers tulips, poppies, wild roses, and hip rose buds, have been combined with pomegranate apples in green (toned down with gesso).  To the die cut leaves I added some crackle paint.

The trim on top is a Maya Road Scallop Trim - also currently ON SALE!!!
At the bottom of the card there's Lace Cheyenne (spray painted white).
.
Now I'd like to draw your attention to the gorgeus bird. It's from the Polish company Wycinanka and in case you're not familiar with them; they produce gorgeous chipboard designs and soon this little birdie together with a few more chipboards will be landing at LLC's shelves.
Ok...well in all honesty there's actually not just going to be a few new chipboards....
There were over 1400 designs to choose from...I narrowed it down the best I could but my order still contains over 100 different designs!!! :-D :-D :-D
It's a mix of backgrounds, ornaments, borders, foliage, wording...

 Here's a little sneak peek:

And if it is chipboard frames that get you excited... you'll have 30+ different frames to choose from:
Hope you'll like this new addition to the LLC Store!

I first started looking into adding chipboards to the LLC store about a month ago, but it's taken me  some time to find the right brand, receive samples and then putting my order together. Therefore I do unfortunately don't think the chippies will be here before Easter, but as you know; patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait. :-)

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Hugz, Sandy
