Happy Saturday everyone!  I am excited to be sharing with you a card created for this week's Mad For Markers Challenge.  The reason I'm excited to be sharing this with you as it's my first post as a member of the Design Team.  I am in a group of some fabulous designers, so when you get a chance go check out the Mad For Markers blog and meet the rest of the team.

The current challenge is GOING GREY...Now I have a little trouble with coloring in people all grey so I just opted to color the stone wall and use that as my focal point :)  This little cutie is from CC Designs.

CC Designs - Thinking of your Card

i sat down tonight and created some cards for another round in the More than Paper Shoes forum swap that is ending soon.  I wanted something that was sweet and had the "thinking of you" look to it, so I pulled out my Swiss Pixies stamp "Heidi Among the Flowers".  She looked so innocent and had the look I was going for.

The paper and cardstock is from Close to My Heart, ribbon and flowers are from my stash and I added some dew drops to the centers of the flowers.  The sentiment is stamped on the inside of the card

Happy Halloween

I made this card using one of the new halloween stamps from CC Designs.  He has been colored in for a little while now waiting for the perfect card :)  The papers are from one of those paper packs found at Joann's.

The spider webs in the corner are done with a martha stewart punch and then I added a little bling.   The layout of the card came from this week's Critter sketch challenge.

Just because card

This week over at the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge blog, the challenge is to "Strip it down".  Now as scary as that may sound, all you have to do is have no more than 2 dp layers on the card.  I've had this Cherry Emma by CC Designs colored in for a long time now and just haven't figured out what to do with her.  So along with using Lisa Summerhays' card for inspiration and this is what I came up with:

This card was also used for the Aud Sentiments Challenge blog dt call

Thinking of you card

Over at the More than Paper Shoes Forum one of the challenges for the month of July is a color block one.  July's color block challenge is to use orange, yellow, and red on your creation.  I knew I had to sit down and tackle this one because usually I stay away from this combination (not my favorite colors).   I went straight for my CC Design images and pulled out the ladybug and fence and the card came together from there.  I didn't add too many embellishments cause the image was busy on it's own but it's still a pretty cute card and I already know the perfect person for it :)

Here is a close up of the image:

I miss you Card

This is another image I've had colored in for a bit now and haven't had a chance to make a card with her.  The image used was Rainy Day Emma from the March Kit at All that Scraps.  The kit is no longer available but you can by the images individually.

If you look closely, you can see that her jacket and boots have little polka dots all over it :)  I really like how she turned out and glad that it's finally made it onto a card.

Critter Sketch Challenge #10

Since this is the tenth challenge, Melanie thought it would be fun for us to create a project using just ten items.  Now that seems pretty easy but when you want to add one more dew drop or something you can't :)

So here is my card.  For some reason it's looks pretty bright but it really isn't that way in person.

1 Image (Isabella sitting from Bugaboo Stamps, sitting on a swing from CC designs--digitally edited)
1 cardstock (the darker blue is just the reverse of the patterned paper so I didn't count it LOL)
1 ribbon
2 flowers
I patterned paper
3 dew drops
1 sentiment ("Spotlight" stamp set from The Greeting Farm)

Now let's see what you can do, head over to the Challenge blog and submit your entry.
