Little Monster birthday card

I'm so excited to be to crafting as it's been way too long.  I figured since I'm still a little "rusty", I'd take it easy and make something simple.  I used this cute image from Bugaboo stamps and made a simple birthday card.

I have entered it into the follow challenges:

Friendship card

The image is another one from my collection that I've had colored in for a while and when I sat down it was the first one I grabbed.  I didn't want to create a card with a ton of stuff on it to take away from this sweet little angel so I went for a clean and simple card.

The image can be found at the Bugaboo Store.

The layout used was from Cardpatterns.

OBG Thursday at Bugaboo Stamps

wow is it Thursday already?  I'm telling you this week is flying by but I think it's cause I'm excited to see Abby at her very first soccer practice.  That girl is super excited to go play with kids that she has been talking about it for weeks!  Now I know there isn't going to be much "soccer" going on considering it's a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds but it's going to be cute :)
Anyway on to todays post.  I pulled out an image of jesse bear that I have had colored in for a long time now and sat down to make this card.  This card would be perfect for any occassion for that special little boy :)  Now only if I had someone to give it too....oh well lol

This card was entered in the following challenge:  Colour Create Challenge Blog

OBG Thursday at Bugaboo

and I almost missed it!  It's been a very stressful week for me and because of this all  my projects have been put neglected until the very last minute.  Thanks to my big sister, things are going to be all right.  She is the one person I know I can count on when things are tough now that my mom is gone.
So on to today's post.  I used a tutorial I found on the fabulous Scrappy's blog, that you can find here.  This cute little "purse" is so quick to make that I made another one for my other DT project...stay tuned for tomorrow :)

Back to School Challenge

Today starts a new challenge for Bugaboo Stamps and the theme for today is Back to School (primary colors).  It's so hard to believe that school is going to be starting soon (and for some it already has)....where has the summer gone?
Here is my card for today's challenge:

Little Isabella looks so small on top her crayon on the card :)  The crayon background is one from Imaginisce and the flower was created by Kindra at Kindra's Creations (I just love her stuff!)
So if you participate in the challenge you'll have a chance to win one of the following prizes:
1st prize - 7 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice
2nd prize - 4 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice
3rd prize - 2 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice
Make sure you check out what the other design team members has created for you today!

Spread a little Christmas Cheer.....

under the mistltoe with me......Okay maybe not LOL
For today I thought I'd make a christmas card.  Now I really don't know why I decided to go with this theme cause I'm really not in the Christmas mood and half way through I started struggling with it.  BUT, here is the card I came up with.

I used the Christmas Sassy girl from Bugaboo for the card and added some red stickles to her dress.  Now I have come to realize I need some new christmas papers cause everything I had wasn't working for me :/  The red flower in the corner, was my first attempt at making homemade flowers....now I cheated though cause I used the flower die from My favorite things BUT I have done some with it LOL

This card was entered in the following challenge
http://stampingvacation.blogspot.com/2010/08/pick-3-challenge-for-month-of-august.html (the three things I used were:  red crystals, image with a "hand" in it, and glitter

Birthday Invites

A girl at work had asked me awhile back if I would create her daughter's birthday party invites, of course I said yes.  Well she told  me last week that she needed them this week to get out in the mail and she wanted 12 of them--OMG!!  She had no clue what she wanted so I created one and got the "ok" to go ahead with the others.

Since her daughter is born in August and she's doing a pool party, I went with the Popsicle shaped cards and used one of the Bugaboo Brats-Isabella at the beach image.  Of course the colors had to be girlie and I added some glitter as well.  It took me all weekend to get the coloring done (in between everything else) and I assembled them all last night.

and here is a close up of a couple of them to see the image better.

Sweet Summertime Challenge-Bugaboo

Today is the start  to our latest challenge at the Catch The Bug Blog for Bugaboo Stamps!  The theme for today is Sweet Sweet Summertime!  We also have a special surprise for you today :)

Participate in the challenge for a chance to win the following prizes:

1st prize - 7 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice
2nd prize - 4 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice
3rd prize - 2 Bugaboo Digi Images of your choice

Today my card features one of the Bugaboo Brats-Isabella at the beach.   I was hired to create 12 birthday invites with a beach theme and this is what I came up with for the sample to show her.  For the others I'm going to add some glitter and probably emboss the purple but the good thing is she liked them :)

For my second card I used the beautiful beach scene supplied by The Character Cafe.

New release day at Bugaboo!!!

When I sat down to create this one, I had something already in mind.  Now that it's all finished I can honestly say it doesn't look like anything I had pictured it would.  So what do you do with a card  your not 100% satisfied with??? You post it for everyone to see LOL

With that all being said, Jodie has some awesome Turtles for you today so make sure you hop on over to store and pick a few or all them up =)

Abby's card

Abby sat down with the other day and created this card.  She of course had to do everything herself (with the exception of using the trimmer) LOL  The butterfly image is from Bugaboo Stamps.

Superhero Card

This is another image that has been colored in for a while and I actually knew what I wanted to do but just haven't done it.  Well last night I had five hours to myself and was able to finally get the card done :)  I don't have a sentiment on it cause I thought it could customized to any occasion for a little boy.

This card was used in the Totally Stampalious challenge to use a touch of red

Tag Challenge at More Paper than Shoes

This isn't a new item but I liked it so much that I resurrected it for the More Paper than Shoes tag challenge.    The sock monkey image is from Bugaboo and the foam letter/number is from Close to My Heart.  I don't remember who the paper is from :(

Christmas in July Challenge

Welcome to our latest challenge!   I know it's hard to think of Christmas when the temperatures outside are around 90 degrees but that's what we're doing today :)   Jodie has a ton of awesome Christmas images that even if you aren't in the Christmas spirit, you are going to have a blast coloring them in LOL

Bugaboo also has a sponsor this time around too....Bizzy Becs.  As always you have a chance to win up to 7 images from Bugaboo but this time around you also have a chance to win a $30 goodie basket with items based on your taste.

My card today using Christmas Mouse and she is holding a mistletoe.  I just love these little mice images :)  The papers are from Imaginsice,  You can also see on the flower that there is a little bell, I've had these for awhile now and new this card was perfect for one :)

My second card for you today using an image from Bizzy Bec's.  This little girl is just too cute!  I paired  her up with some girlie paper I've had for a little while from Imaginisce with a matching chipboard tag.  Her shirt has sparkles added to it cause what girl doesn't love her bling LOL

Now hop on over to the other girls blogs and see what they have for you today and don't forget to go the challenge blog to enter your card!
