Welcome to SugarPea Designs 3rd Birthday Bash Celebration! 

We are so honored to have the opportunity to celebrate this incredible milestone that all of you helped make happen! Today's festivites included some incredible inspiration from the Sugar Pea Design Team and some of our very Special Guests.

I just had to pull out this cutie patootie image What's Mew from when SugarPea Designs was in its first year, I believe. I was taking a card making break at the time, because I was burnt out.  SugarPea Designs got me out of my slump with my first glance at their new images and it has been love ever since. 

About my card,

I die cut my SugarCut - Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles die using the second from the largest from white cardstock.  I then sponged on Distress Oxide Broken China then spritzed with water and dabbed with a paper towel, repeating spritzing and dabbing til I got the look I want.  I adhered two more rectangles under it and adhered to my card front.  Next, I stamped this sweet image from What's Mew.  I colored it up and cut it out with scissors.  I stamped my sentiment masking off "Day" from Have a Purrfect Day" sentiment then stamped "Birthday" next to it after I masked off "Wishes" from "Birthday Wishes" sentiment using Happy Mail.  I used Glossy Accents on the window, let it dry then popped it up on my card front and accented with washi tape and sequins.

Caffeine Addict by SugarPea Designs.  I stamped using a color ink and the back of the stamp, then I turned the stamp over and used black ink but off kilter and just repeated in both corners.

Come join in the latest Color Throwdown Challenge #434.

I used these colors by playing with some brand new goodies from SugarPea Designs. 

I sponged my background using the new Distress Oxide Peeled Paint and using the SugarCut - Sunburst Cover Plate like a stencil.  Then I stamped, colored and cut out my strong man using Stay Strong and SugarCut - Stay Strong.  Then I embellished and popped in my gold with gold and clear sequins.

And I am playing with my dear friend Rosemary Dennis (Rosi).  You check out what she came up with for this challenge HERE. I first used Elle's Studio Tis The Season stamp set to stamp a line of rainbow evergreen trees along the bottom of a card panel working from left to right with my MISTI.  

 I then die cut my trees at an angle using

using the stitched rectangle then another using the scallop rectangle. 

 Next, I stamped my sentiments using 

Elle's Studio Tis The Season and Neat & Tangled's Say Yes To Donuts.

I adhered my panels and finshed off with

Birthday Hop For Lenae

Happy Birthday to one of my local crafting buddies, Lenae Daly.  

When the bunch of use get together Lenae is always able to whip up like 3 cards.  I don't even get one made.  Love you Lenae, Happy Birthday girlie. 

I made this card for Lenae, trying out the striped technique Jennifer McGuire showed on her blog yesterday for the SugarPea Designs Caring Hearts Special Release Hop.  I could not get my die to cut through my layers with many tries so I cut out three of the Birthday and stacked them up instead.  

I used the Scripty Happy Birthday Die set from Your Next Stamp for the "Birthday". 

 The "Happy" is stamped from the Happy Mail stamp set from SugarPea Designs.  I used the scallop rectangle die from SugarCuts Birthday Journal Card Die.

I am playing in Splitcoaststampers CAS challenge #396 - Pumpkin Patch

With the theme being pumpkins, I pulled out this cutie Birdbrain Jack-O-Lantern by From The Heart Stamps.  I just inked him up simply and quickly.  Then used the SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles Die from SugarPea Designs and placed at an angle.  Then just added a few sequins. Easy peasy.

I am playing in today's Clean And Simple Challenge 

CAS391 Sunshine and Rainbows over at Splitcoaststampers. 

I pulled out a couple SugarPea Designs goodies and whipped up this easy peasy card.  First, I dry embossed the border on my front panel using SugarCuts Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles Die then I stamped the sentiment using Whatever The Weather and used Copic Markers to highlight.  I added washi tape and sequins to finish it off.
