MarkerPOP Challenge #129

Hello!  Today MarkerPOP is hosting a new challenge that will have you ready for fall and Halloween...

While I was at first inspired to create a witch scene, for some reason every time I pulled out certain stamp sets I just wasn't feeling it.  So when I went back to the picture a second time I was inspired by the pumpkins, and decided to go with it...

To create this card I started by stamping these beautiful multi step pumpkins from the Sunny Studio Stamps Set called Pretty Pumpkins.  For the first two layers I used a mix of inks, and for the top layer I added some shine with Gold Embossing Powder.  I colored the background of my scene with Spectrum Noir Markers.  The sentiment is from a fun mix of sentiments in a set by Impression Obsession called Holiday Words.  I then layered my stamped panel with Lawn Fawn Patterned Paper.

I hope you'll join us and be entered for a chance to win some pretty awesome goodies!

A Muse Studio Day 3 Sneak Peek

It's Day 3, which means only one more sleep until all of these new goodies are available for you to purchase in the A Muse Studio Store! Woot Woot!  Today's set is called Eat, Drink, and Be Thankful, and it consists of two large script sentiments that definitely make a sentiment.  You can also add some sweet fall images from the set to any project you are creating.  Here's a peek at something I've created with this set...

I love how this sentiment looks cut and in the center of my shaker.  For the inside of my shaker I used Orange Sequins and French Roast Glitter.  I stamped several of the leaf images with the Pigment Ink in Papaya, Orange, and French Roast.  I also added two toned stamping by stamping the image first with a light ink and went over part of it with a darker ink.
Stop by the A Muse Studio Blog for a chance to win this new set for yourself and for more peeks!

DCWV/Pink & Main Blog Hop

Hello most wonderful crafty friends!!!  I'm so excited to be taking part in this hop today, and I can't wait to share the little Thanksgiving card and table card I've created with my awesome DCWV Leaves Stack and some super cute Pink & Main Stamps and dies! ekkkk!!!

Aren't they just so much fun?  This matching card set was so fun and easy to create!  Below I share how these two projects came together...

To create the card I started by stamping the fox onto a piece of patterned paper and then used my Prismacolor Pencils to add more colors and detail to the image.  I have never really used coloring when stamping on patterned paper, but I'm totally loving it!  I then die cut him out with the matching dies and propped him onto a vellum circle with foam adhesive before adding him to my patterned paper background.  I love the mix of the light and dark colors in the Autumn Leaves Stack as well as the shine of the Rose Gold Foil!

For the table card I used the same technique as above by stamping the bear onto patterned paper and coloring it in with my Prismacolor Pencils before using the matching die cuts to cut her out.  I then folded a piece of white cardstock from the Natural Cardstock Stack, added a strip of patterned paper along the bottom and die cut a few feathers from the Autumn Leaves Stack.  I then stamped my sentiment in the upper left corner and adhered the bear with some foam adhesive.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and make sure you check out the DCWV blog as well as the Pink & Main Blog for more details and giveaway information!!!

Little Tom Turkey Challenge Card!

Hello everyone!!!  In anticipation of a delicious Thanksgiving I made this fun little card for some awesome challenges:

Isn't he fun?  I wanted to make something different, and while eating dinner ( don't askme why this thought came during diner ) I thought it would be fun to make something that looks like the feathers on the chest of the turkey, and so I punched a bunch of circles out of scrap paper I had left over from my DCWV sketch challenge...

Materials Used:
Paper layerz for the paper on the turkey ( love this stuff! )
Create a Critter Cartridge
Circle punch
scrap paper
brad
Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive

Challenges I am entering this into are:
