Either I Drink My Coffee, Or....

Hello!  Today I am sharing a fun coffee loving kind of card to join in the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!
I am pretty much in love with all of the Coffee and Tea products from CAS-ual Friday Stamps, but the ones I've used today are pretty much my favorite, and they include the TO GO Cup Fri-die and the Hot Coffee Stamp Set...

This card came together quickly with the help of scrap patterned paper and the To Go Cup Fri-die Set.  After I assembled my cups I adhered them to more patterned paper and added my sentiment with a dark blue ink in the upper right corner.  This sentiment is the kind that makes you actually laugh out loud when you read it!  I forgot to take a picture of the inside, but I also added " Life is a Grind, press on. - Coffee " haha!!!

If you love these awesome products then make sure you stop by the CAS-ual Friday Stamps Store to grab them for yourself... plus I have a discount code you can use!

Happy Crafting/Shopping/Hopping! :)

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with Crafty Doodle Chick

Hi!  I'm so excited to be joining in the Coffee Loving Paper Crafters Spring/Summer Blog Hop today!!!

And of course I have a coffee card to share on here along with a GIVEAWAY!!! Woot woot!  More on that in a bit.  First, my project...

I love the CAS-ual Fridays Stamps Coffee Stamps and Dies, and I had a lot of fun using the Coffee Cup die on the front of a shaped cardbase.  I chose bright spring patterned papers to go with the theme of the hop and tied twine around it.

Since I went with no sentiment on the front of the card I added a fun sentiment from the Coffee Talk Stamp Set...

Giveaway Details: Crafty Doodle Chick is offering a $20 Store Credit to one lucky winner!!!  PLUS: I have a discount code you can use in the store to save 15% 5/25/18 - 6/1/18 ....

CODE: COFFEELOVERS

CAS-ual Fridays Day 4 Release

It's Day 4 of the new CAS-ual Fridays Release, which means only 2 more sleeps left!!!  Today's card shows the new set called Supercalifragilistic... and it is full of fun encouraging sentiments like the one I've used...

I love that the sentiment is uplifting, while also having a fun side to it.  For my card I used the emboss resist technique with white embossing powder and Distress Oxide Inks.  I then added a few splashes of water to the background and let it dry.  Finally, I adhered the gems and the panel onto the cardbase.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Make sure you check out the CAS-ual Friday Blog for lots of inspiration and a better look at this new set!

Oh, and if you can't wait to grab these goodies for yourself I'd be tickled pink if you'd use my coupon code to save you 15% off your total purchase...

I decided to take the sentiment and really play with it: Java Download In Progress Caffeine Loading... Pleas Wait.  hehehe!  Love it!  Then I used the smaller coffee cup in the die set to cut out of red, yellow, and green cardstock.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Yay!!!

Hello, hello!  Welcome to my blog if you are new, and so happy to see you again if you are already a visitor!  Today starts the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop, and I'm so happy to get to play along.  I've also had the greatest honor to get to share a brand new Coffee Stamp Set by Michele from CAS-ual Fridays!  The set is called Peace, Love & Coffee, it's super cute, and guess what.... it's only $5 today in honor of this hop!!!  Pst - and I have a coupon code at the end of this post for even more savings!!!

Here's a peek at my project...

See?!  Isn't it just so cute?!?!?!  I love the font for the sentiments too!  To create my card I simply stamped the sentiment first with PTI Dark Chocolate Ink on the top and bottom of a strip of white cardstock.  Next I added in the images with more PTI Ink in Kraft, Pure Poppy, and Tropical Teal.  I then popped this strip up with foam adhesive onto patterned paper and finally onto my cardbase.  And here is a closer look...

Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting my blog today!  And if you want to pick this set up for $5 today make sure you head to the CAS-ual Fridays Store!  Plus here's a code for you too...

A Rainbow of Coffee

Hello!  I'm here today with a just for fun card based on a few challenges! :)  If you hadn't seen yet the Summer Coffee Lovers Hop is going on now until June 30th, and I just had to play along...

To create this card I was inspired by the Simply Irresistible Challenge focusing on the Emboss Resist Technique.  I started by stamping and embossing this coffee cup by Mint Owl Studio in a Sparkly White Embossing Powder.  At first I had thought about watercoloring over the image, but then when I opened up one of my drawers I came across one of my chalk circular ink pads and decided to simply turn it over and press the ink down onto the image as it was.  I then went back in with a sponge and added more color where it was needed.  Once it dried I diecut the heart around the cup and hoped it up with foam adhesive.  I stamped the heart and sentiment with a kraft ink onto the Kraft cardbase.

Oh, and I almost forgot I added a spritz of shimmer, simply because I like it! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hi!  Today I'm joining the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and I'm sharing a peek at new Coffee Loving goodies now available at STAMPlorations ( psssttt - I have a code for you to save some $ at the end of this post! yay! ).

First let's take a look at the card I've created for today...

To create this card I started by stamping and heat embossing the Coffee Bags in a Row Border Stamp.  Next I went over the background with various brown watercolors letting each layer dry before adding another.  While it was drying I die cut my sentiment from the Rise & Grind Phrase Die Cut from a foil cardstock.  I layered it all onto my cardbase, and voila!

I can't wait to see what you make for this blog hop!  And one more thing... here is a discount code for you to use to save 20% off your total!!! YAY!

A Latte Holiday Cheer

Hello!  Today I am taking part in the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with a few fun stamp sets by Mint Owl Studio...

To create this card I stamped my coffee image in the center of a white panel.  Now for my sentiment I used the Coffee Craze Stamp set mixed with the Trim the Tree Stamp Set.  I then used Copic® Markers for the cup and a white gel pen for the dish.  To create a fun bokeh effect I used the circle images from the Trim the Tree Stamp Set and various light inks.  After I diecut the panel I layered it with some Wood Veener (thanks hubby!).

Make sure you join in the fun and hop along!  All kinds of inspiration in one spot, hope to see you there!

Latte Birthday Wishes

Hello!  You will find me here and on the Mint Owl Studio Blog today and I have a card that I've created based on the latest Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  Did you know that Mint Owl Studio is one of the Super Sponsors for this hop?!  LOVE it!  Also there is a special code you can use to get 20% off your total purchase right now, just enter COFFEE when checking out!  Now here is the watercolor postcard I've created with the Coffee Craze Stamp set...

When I think of seasonal projects I think of colors and while I don't have a huge selection of Magical Powders I did pull out my blue, orange and green colors that jumped out as fall to me.  The magical powders are fun to work with in various ways and I chose a very artsy and loose technique by simply sprinkling the powders in the general areas that I wanted them to be after my images were embossed. I then spritzed with water and let the "magic" happen!  I love the way you get a mix of colors from each powder by using this technique, but be aware that this technique is not something you have a lot of control over and sometimes things can get a bit messy.  I love the results and think its so fun to watch the colors change and swirl together.

I am also linking this up to the Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Stamplorations CAS Challenge Reminder

Hello wonderful crafty friends!  Today I am posting a little reminder for this month's STAMP-lorations CAS Challenge.  Every month is anything CAS, and any products can be used... we also add in an optional twist and this time the twist is the color orange.  In my first project I used a very bright orange, so this time I toned it down and went with a more burnt orange color...

To create this card I started by stamping the sentiments randomly onto a panel.  I then went over the panel with distress ink along all of the edges.  Next I stamped the cup onto separate card stock and colored in with my PrismaColor Pencils.  I cut this out and added it to the panel with foam adhesive.  I added some brown sequins to pop out of my cup and adhered it to a blue panel.  This was then added onto Kraft Card stock and I tied on a twine bow for the top.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I can't wait to see what you create for the challenge!

I Love You Latte

Hello! yay!  I had a moment to play along with the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop that is currently going on!!!  I am also excited to share this card as I have permission to share a sneak peek at a new coffee stamp set that has yet to be released by V's Sweet Ideas! WOOT WOOT!

Let's get on with it, shall we?

Isn't it fun and super cute?!  This set is due to release very soon so make sure you like V's Sweet Ideas on Facebook and or check out her store for release dates!  Anywho, to create this card I started by Stamping and heat embossing the cups repeatedly in fine white embossing powder.  I then went from edge inward with Fire brick distress ink.  Next I stamped my two love cups in the middle with Tuxedo Black Memento.  I also stamped these two cups on two different patterned papers, fussy cut and adhered.  Next I outlined them with R20 Copic Marker.  I then stamped the sentiment, layered it with more patterned paper, adhered at an angle, and embellished! woo hoo!

I'm so glad I was able to join along with this blog hop, and I hope you are having fun and being inspired by all of the fabulous entries thus far!

I'm also entering this into the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge as my card was based on their newest sketch!  And in Virginia's View Challenge: Distressing

Glass half full...

Over at FCC they are having a hot chocholate themed challenge for their Challenge Me Monday challenge.  You had to use either a cup, chocolate, or brown on your project so here is my entry:

Materials Used:
CM Cheerful Seasons Cartridge
All paper from my scraps pile
Ribbon from my stash

I was really happy with the way this card turned out, it's simple but the designed paper works well together!
