I haven't been keeping up on my Christmas cards, so I am trying to get some done with some images that I had sitting in my stash. This is one from Torico and a sentiment from TLC Create. I used pop dots on the smaller hearts.

Happy Anniversary

My friend Andrea came up with an awesome sketch and I made 3 cards using it. They were so fun and I just needed a variety of cards so it was perfect.
The first one I used the color scheme from JUGS for an anniversary card. I dry embossed the white paper with hearts and sprayed it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. I layered the colored papers us and added a ribbon on top of my border punch. I used my Spellbinder die cuts for the larger hearts and my Fiskars punches for the smaller hearts. Then the icing was to add a bling to each heart and the sentiment that I computer generated.

Cupid smells the roses

Well with another attempt to clean my craft area I found this vintage image from TLC, Create that I had colored along with the paper I printed so I had to put it together....and cleaning was not accomplished. I just love the red and black together which is so elegant to me.

Today is Oldie but Goodie day at Catch the Bug and I made a card using the image, Coffee Time - May your cup and a sentiment from TLC, Create.  It works out well since the 2020 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop is going on and this is my first card that I am making.  It's a problem now that work is getting busy and that I don't have time to make cards when I want to since I don't have as much free time, lol. Well knew that lull wasn't going to last long.

Today at Catch the Bug it's New Release or an older image is brought into the new store. Today is the Purple Day Blog Hop in awareness of Epilepsy. Epilepsy is a group of disorders that is characterized as having seizures.  There are different types of Epilepsy and different types of seizures. As a nurse, I have worked with many individuals with Epilepsy and it is wonderful to see the advances that have been made in this field.

Let Love Grow

It's February 1st already! I just can't believe how fast the days are going. Maybe it's because I have to work a full time regular job and don't have as much time to craft as I would like. This month I am a guest designer for Joy of Sets and they have fun tic tac toe challenges. For my card, I used an image from Mo Manning, Let Love Grow with a computer generated sentiment. I couldn't decide which elements to use in the challenge so I went for a full black out of all 9!  I pulled out my Derwent Watercolor pencils which I haven't used in some time so I used Copics on the face ad hair and pencils on the rest. I embossed the vellum and put it on a gold metallic paper. The background purple paper also has streaks of gold.

Love Ewe

Well this year when I Christmas shopping the last week before Christmas they already had Valentines items in the store and I was surprised. Not that I should be because soon it will be after St. Patrick's Day they will be putting Valentine's stuff out again, lol. And, I'm already working on my Valentine's cards since I send them to my family....usually because I am horrible about getting my Christmas cards mailed out.
For this card, I used the new Stella Says Sketch that starts today at Catch the Bug. My image is Love Ewe.  For my background, I dry embossed it with little hearts from Cuttlebug and then sprayed it with 3 different colors of Glimmer Mist colors so it has a sparkle. On the sides I added some sparkly Washi tape that matched perfectly. Then I fussy cut out the image and had the heart be red instead of pink so it would stand out. So sorry this is a day late on posting, something happened on my auto post.  This was meant to go for the Humor Me at Catch the Bug and it did post on their site. This card is using the image Frame It - Stella Valentines Day.  And how appropriate with Stella to have some falling black hearts.
Seriously hope that you get all the love that you deserve and if you crave sweets then some goodies or flowers or whatever makes you content. My naughty cats got their Valentines gift early because they found the catnip mice and were carrying them around on the cardboard ....which was pathetic so I gave them early.

Saturday starts a new challenge at Catch the Bug and for the first weekend it's Anything Goes.  I actually made two samples today.  So for my first card, I used one of the images from Valentine Circle Sentiments.  For this card, I used my Scalloped Heart Spellbinder Die Cut  on a piece of white cardstock and then sprayed it with Glimmer Mist to get the splatter effects. I added a heart gem and then some sequins.

I love us

I know that I said that I was having my daughter over this weekend, so I made two cards for her to give to her boyfriend for Valentine's Day. She has Gus, but this was the closest image that I could find with a little dog. The sentiment is from TLC, Create.  I was in a hurry because I wasn't sure if I was going to see her before the holiday that when I grabbed my paper for copying I realized that it was not the one that I usually use....so it smeared and didn't absorb like the Copic paper, argh.  I didn't have time to re-color.
