Well, anyone want a whole lotta scrap stuff? I just feel like packing up my craft room and getting rid of it all. I need some inspiration these days. I don't even like going into my room anymore. Anyone ever feel this way?? How did you get yourself out of a slump like that? I did manage to squeek out this card from the latest sketch at 2S4Y this week.
I've been wanting to try beading lately. Not jewellery, but maybe some Christmas ornaments and such. I've seen some really pretty snowflakes lately that I'd like to make. If anyone has any patterns or knows of any great sites, please let me know. I need a new "drug" so to speak!!!
Thanks for listening to me complain!!

HI Lisa - om-gosh we have missed you - almost sent a search party out to find you *lol* Seriously welcome back. Everyone goes through periods of "mojolessness" but this card is lovely so it can't be completely gone *wink*. When I want to be inspired I clean out my scraproom - I always find something that sparks some sort of creativity that is buried under the chaos!!!..hth

This card is beautiful...I love the fall-like colors you used instead of the typical orange/black combo.
It would be a real shame for someone this talented to up and quit. Hang in there, your mojo will return. (-;
This card is full of inspiration. Great colours and embellishments.
When I have no inspiration I look at blogs and read some magazines.
love it, great colours

wonderful card! oh I hear you on that. usually I get some really cool new product- just one or two things. otherwise, just looking on great blogs helps me feel inspired. I like to go outside of my comfort zone and try fun things. good luck in getting that mojo to come home!

Beautiful card, Lisa! Love the stitching on it! I agree with Kazan...your mojo can't be completely gone! :)
I can totally relate to what you're going through...When I feel that way I think that, for me, it has to do with being overwhelmed with so many choices (yes, I have a LOT of stuff, too!). Maybe just going through and getting rid of some may help lift the burden, and then you'll find that you're inspired by seeing some supplies that you actually want to use for a project. That has helped me get over it.
Good luck, and I hope you get inspired soon! :)
Great card! Pascale
Oh lisa!! Don't you dare stop making cards!! LOL!! Your cards are GORGEOUS and SO inspiring to me!! This card is no exceptiong... scrumptious!! YUM! Keep on keepin' on girl!!! ;)
Make yourself a pot of tea, grab a book and just sit and read. Clearing out your scraproom works too but I like the tea and book better. I love the card. If you can make that without inspiration all is not bad.
Eveline.
This is so cute!! I just love that cute little creepy critter tag! Great job with the sketch!

Tell you the truth, your card is gorgeous! I'm sure your mojo is not gone but maybe you just needed some inspiration to spur you up again...those ladies suggestions are great.
Lisa,
I am right there with you chickie!! Just moved everything up to the Huge Bonus room.. and even got a new computer. Lately I just visit cooking blogs. Been making lots of bread lately.. I have done some stuff for Clearsnap, but that is it. Just not interested... even got two huge boxes of stuff from American Crafts!! I need to come and visit you.. or you come and visit me!! only two kids left at home!! Hope the job is going well. I am subbing lots.. loving that.. Take care. Love the card
Well, you did a great job with your card, so that mojo is not all gone. Love your card! Keep using the sketches, that'll keep your mojo going!
Sending a little paper crafty mojo your way! Your card is beautiful. Great job with the sketch! I love the pp and the lace.
Lisa, I check your blog every time I log on to my computer. I miss seeing your beautiful cards. Your sewing is fabulous! I sure hope you find your mojo, I will miss you if you just silently slink away. I get in these kinds of funk myself, I just keep reading the message boards and blog surf, eventually something will jog me back to making a card. Your Halloween card looks like perhaps your mojo has been found.

Don't pack it up just yet! You just need to take a break for a little bit, but don't give up! You have so much talent and are one of my very few (count them on one hand) most favorite card makers. Seriously. Big hugs. I hope the slump is gone soon.
