Linnie Blooms Pallet Garden Flag

Greetings to all Linnie Blooms fans. This is my final sign off. I've had fun making and sharing creations and I wanted to say Thank You for checking out my creations.

My final project is with the Linnie Blooms Garden flag. I turned it sideways to use and added some yellow sheer ribbon to hang the flag.

I painted the entire canvas with gesso and then started painting with burnt umber paint, a light caramel color paint (it look like peanut butter) and a white paint. I was hoping these colors would assist in creating a pallet fence

I used Linnie Blooms Bloom stencil to create my material flowers, I painted the burlap/canvas ribbon with a spring green paint. I use the Linnie Blooms canvas bird and attached felt and added an eye to bring him alive.

Of course my little guy is building ???

I added some fun texture under the paint, to build up my pallet fence

My sign off was a special Thank You

Another Sunny Day

Hi All! Greeting from California. It's another Sunny Day.

I started this project with a 6 x 6 stretched canvas I gesso the canvas and started painting green at the bottom and turquoise at the top  (the green paint is from Prima and the turquoise is from Art Anthology). I used the Canvas Fence and the Canvas Tree.  I gesso the fence and the tree,I painted the tree green with magenta blooms, I gesso over it again and painted it a second green with baby pink blooms. The fence was gesso and painted in baby pink with a hint of green (grass goes through fences).

I added flowers to the fence(prima) and even some initials inside a heart. I added some croscill flowers(paper from DCWV) and mod podge them on to the canvas (middle and bottom low left)

I added a little blank scrabble piece and some rope twine to make a tree swing. (Memories)...

Thank You for letting me play.

Cherish Forever Long Blank Canvas Project

Hello Crafters! Rochelle here today to share with you a mixed media project I made with Linnie Blooms Long Blanks and Butterfly Shapes.
I had a lot of fun playing with different types of product with this project.  I started by spraying Linnie Blooms long blank with Tattered Angels Mist. Then randomly stenciled the chevrons using Art Anthology paint, and stenciled the circles with modeling paste, and lastly random stamping with a script stamp with a PITT pen by Faber-Castell.

For the Linnie Bloom butterflies shapes, I used Tattered Angels for the yellow and Art Anthology paint for the pink.   The corrugated butterfly is by Jillibean.  I misted it first with Dylusions but wanted it more darker so I used a light coat of modeling paste.

I used white flowers from Petaloo.  To paint these flowers, I used a mixture of mediums I used throughout the project.  However, I used a paint brush to apply the mists/paint onto the flowers and then added water for a more watercolor look.

Lastly, I used some old Heidi Swap clear word stamps (that I just LOVE) with archival ink.

I am truly having a great time being part of Linnie Blooms design team and loving all her canvas shapes!! You can see more of her shapes HERE.

Thanks for stopping by! :)
