The sacrament hymn as just beginning, as I looked down to Slade's legs. He lifted them up and pulled up his pant legs to reveal shin guards. I asked him why he was wearing them and he told me that they were for protection.

After church, his Primary teacher approached me. She wanted to tell me what Slade had shared in class. By then, he had moved the shin guards to his arm. He told everyone that he was wearing shin guards to remind him of Jesus. Why did they remind him of Jesus you say? As Slade told his class, "They remind me of Jesus because they protect me just like He does."
