How do I?

I'm going to post a tutorial on how to make a union jack block from three 10" squares of fabric but how do I get the drawing I have made onto the blog in a printable form?  I have a scanner but it produces a wonky version of the drawing so I think I need to produce something graphically / digitally but I have no idea how to do this.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  Thank you.

    Paint.NET (http://www.paint.net/) might be your friend. It's a pretty powerful free image and photo editor.

    Can you scan it and save it as a pdf and then link that to your blog post?
