Cavania - Giveaway

I'm sure if you looked up the word gorgeous in the dictionary, you would find the word CAVANIA

Yep...Cavania = Gorgeousness

Cavania is a blog I came across ages ago...can't remember where I first saw it but as soon as I did I was hooked.

Karen Sanders and her team design gorgeous cards and gifts. Did I say they are all GORGEOUS?!

She was based in London...but has recently moved her family to Western Australia and is now settling in and waiting for all her beautiful things to arrive from the UK

I was fortunate, a couple of Christmas's ago, to win a giveaway on Cavania and now, Karen and Paul have kindly offered some of their beautiful cards as a giveaway here.

My absence...and A Giveaway

I've been very remiss in my blogging duties of late. Busy at home after our holiday at the beach ended...busy dealing with the insurance company over our recent break-in. Busy at work...yup, busy!

Sincere apologies - A Winner!!

Finally.....Time to announce the winner of my little giveaway

I have to apologise for the delay in the announcement, but I had to travel interstate for work and then as soon as I got home, we had to pack up for our annual holiday to the beach....

... also throwing a spanner in the works... we got burgled last week which means I am no longer able to photograph anything as my precious canon camera and all of it's bits and pieces were taken. Basically, we were cleaned out of all of our "small"stuff. Not pleasant I can tell you!

The other thing that made us happy this week was hearing that our heater's being installed next Wednesday! Woo Hoo.

The one we've chosen is the Heat and Glo AT-Supreme. It's a balanced flue gas log fire and it looks pretty darn good...and we got a good deal on it too.

I can't tell how just how relieved we are here at Number 10. All of us, dogs and cat included.

So, no more freezing nights and mornings. No more dogs trying to crowd onto the couch with us to keep warm. I think we're going to be very toasty!

This is a little embarrassing

Embarrassing Indeed!!!!

I planned to draw the name of the winner for my giveaway tomorrow (Friday) but so far have just ONE comment.

Now, I know the giveaway is only open to readers from Canada and the USA (unfortunately), but so far with just one comment, it's not looking good!

So, I'll extend the competition till next Monday and hopefully there'll be more comments forthcoming

I'm Back

Yep....back from my little break at the beach and back to work!

Lucky I like my job!...although I can't say I like it more than a nice relaxing holiday.

No.

Once I arrived home at Number 10, I started on the washing and drying and putting things away. The thing I want to know though is, why doesn't it all go back as easily as before? Did all the stuff I took to the beach, miraculously double in volume on the trip home?

Yes, I did do a (little) bit of shopping, but it certainly couldn't be called "over the top" and only a couple of extra things came home with me.

Anyway, I'm back into the swing of things and am looking forward to a great 2010.
