LHN Pumpkins

Hello! My first time posting here but a long time admirer of the finishes that have been posted.

Finished stitching this little piece called Pumpkins back in the fall of last year. Almost forgot I had done it! In the process of looking for the perfect frame for it so that I can display it this fall.

May stitch this again soon as a gift for a friend. Such a cute design!

Garden Pleasures

Hi everybody!

I’m so excited to be here! This is my very first post. I’m happy to present one of my favourite works which is called “Garden Pleasures”. I stitched it as a present for Mom, a big garden fan.

To accomplish the design I used recommended DMC threads and cashel linen. Forget-me-nots made the great supplement for the finished work!

My First Post

I'm so grateful for Veronica approving me for membership to this wonderful group! I see a lot of familiar names here, and I know I'll love being here and seeing all the beautiful work you all do.

Here is Diane's Winter Wonderland on Impie, Hattie, & Bea's complementary fabric pieces for a thread pal and a pin notebook. Mary Kathryn does such wonderful work, as well as Diane and Nikki! I don't know what I'd do without all of them. And I got my newest Just Cross Stitch magazine in the mail today, and Nikki had a featured "girly" design to stitch. Soooo cute!

Strawberry Cake

Hi all! I haven't posted on here yet but here it goes. :) I stitched up the model Strawberry Cake by CCN for Crescent Colours and finished it up for them. We decided on making it into a cube shaped like a slice of cake. This isn't the best picture, hopefully Sharon will have some better pictures from Market when she gets back. But you get the idea.

I Am So Happy...

... to be joining you all, as I have been a follower in awe of everyone's beautiful projects and finishes. My name is Karyn and I am a 46 year old wife and mother from Southern New England, and I have been cross stitching since May of this year. I am learning as I go and, like all of you I have fallen in love with samplers and especially LHN and CCN.

Here is my first LHN finish, all it needs is a good pressing and framing, which will be done in the next few weeks, and I will show the finished product as soon as it is ready to hang. In the meantime here is my first LHN finish "Colonial Homes"

Thanks again for letting me join :)

Curly Q Ewe WIP

Hi ~ I am new here and just joined today.
Wouldn't you know someone already has this one done and posted yesterday!
I dearly love LHN and CCN. I discovered themat the retreat I go to every spring inBelton, Texas. Summer's Mill is a great placeto have this retreat because it is peaceful and quiet. We have the Yellow Rose room all to ourselvesand just stitch and stitch and stitch.Did I mention we also EAT?
Lots and lots of goodies that all us stitchershave made. Yum, yum it all tastes so good.A few pounds are always put on over thatweek end.We laugh and eat and stitch. Three of myfavorite things!

Here she is ~ I forgot to get a photo today so this is my progress.
But, I have a lot more stitched.
All of the skirt except the flowers inside, andI started the sheep tonight.
Thanks so much for looking. Will post tomorrow night!God Bless
