Sale ~ and Retiring Kits…

What a long, busy week ~ thank goodness it’s Friday! I haven’t taken the time to post about the “Spring Cleaning” sale going on at theStudio. Most of the store, including my kits, will be 40% off until some time on Sunday. There are also lots of store kits that are retiring ~ they are 70% off.

I am retiring two of my kits (see below). If interested, you can pick them up HERE. Once you’re at my store, just click on the “Retiring” link on the left side to see all the other kits available.

Have a great weekend! And I hope you’ll stop by again next week. I’ll be participating in 2 blog trains AND providing information about the April recipe card challenge/exchange at the Studio.

Fall Festival Kit in Store + Freebie

WARNING: Long post ahead! : )

My "Fall Festival" kit is now in my Stone Accents Studio (SAS) store; it will be 25% off through November 2. You can get it HERE.

I also created a couple of quickpages from these layouts I did of my daughter. Thank goodness for scanners; these pictures are from 1985! Isn't she a cutie? I've included a slightly different version of the word art from my SAS designer contest round 3 kit, using the leaves from this kit instead (it's a separate element in case you don't want it on your page). I originally designed the word art with these pictures of Megan in mind; nice that I finally get to use it! I'd like to give credit to the person who did a similar layout with this kit, but I can't find your name. So if you see this - you did a great job! Thanks for the inspiration.

Now to the quickpages: #1 is included as part of the store kit. If you're one of the 1,362 people who downloaded this kit as a freebie, feel free to recreate the QP if you like it. I've updated the TOU document for this kit; click here to download. If you want QP #2, download it HERE.

Here's an update of what I've been working on (besides my "real life"):
  • I created a mini kit for the SAS November mega kit.

  • I created another mini kit for the SAS Halloween grab bag; I'll post more about that this weekend.

  • I designed my kit for the November "Stuff to Scrap" blog train; the color palette is my favorite so far. I'll post a sneak peak early next week; the train officially starts on Nov. 1.

  • I've been working on getting my previous freebie kits ready to be in the SAS store; 3 are done -- the rest are coming.

  • And last: I'm finishing up my first new kit that will go directly to store. It's called "Manly Men" with darker, less "feminine" colors that can be used for a wide variety of layouts. The papers are done; if you have any ideas of what you'd like included as elements, leave me a comment here or send me an e-mail message.
Here's hoping you all have a safe, productive, restful weekend!

Blog Train ~ Fall Festival

UPDATE (10-23-2009): Kit now available in my Stone Accents Studio store HERE.
* * * * * * * * * *
Another great color palette for this month's blog train ~ and lots of fun kits to pick up along the way! The papers in my kit are intentionally "non-fallish." My elements, on the other hand, are very fall-ish! I love the hand-drawn elements made by my very talented friend Suzy, plus there are some "real" elements that can be used on all kinds of layouts ~ fall-related or not. One of my favorite elements: the clock with the word "Simplify" on it ~ something I need to do in my life so there's more time for the things I want to do! Nita, Rose, and Tammy all did a great job using my kit to make quickpages and brag books ~ thanks, friends!

Download my kit here (LINK EXPIRED); an updated TOU is included. The download links for all the designers are included below my preview.

The train officially starts September 1, so check back if a kit is not yet available. Some kits will only be available for 2 weeks, so grab them while you can. And please leave some love along the way!

Sneak Peek! And TOU Follow-up...

I've always wanted to do a sneak peek of a kit, but I'm usually so excited to get it finished that I just want to post it! In this case, I have to wait until Sept. 1 to post, so I'm going for it. Here's the color swatch for the Stuff to Scrap blog train; the theme is "Fall Festival."

But before my sneak peek, here's a quick update on my TOU issue. First, I appreciate the support and thoughtful e-mail messages so many of you sent me. The 2 sites who had posted my work have removed it at my request; for now, I'm going to trust it won't happen again (but I'll keep watching!). There's a 3rd site that is posting direct links to my 4-shared files, but it's in a language I don't understand and I can't figure out how to contact them. So I've given up on that. And now we move on...

Here's my sneak peek ~ I'm excited to share this kit with you! Nita, Rose, and Tammy all used it to make some great QP's/bragbooks, plus there are a LOT of other fun contributions to the train. I hope you'll stop by on the 1st. Until then, stay safe and be happy!
