I had a doctors apt Thursday morning. There, I was at 2 cm. He stripped my membranes. I went into the hospital around 8pm friday night (2-12-10). I was now at 4 cm. They made me walk the halls of the hospital for an hour to make sure I was laboring on my own because I was pre-term. I came back after an hour and was at 5 cm so they admitted me. I got my IV and epidural in then played the waiting game!! At 4:30 Saturday morning Doc came in to break my water. That is when EVERYTHING stopped!!! While deliveries were happening in all the other rooms I got neglected until about 8:30am when my nurse finally came back in and said...oh...your contractions stopped I am going to put you on pit!
HELLO...finally!!
THEN...everything progressed REALLY fast! At noon the doctor came in and got suited up and the pushing began. 10 minutes later my little guy was here!!!
After our stake and shrimp dinner Sunday night Luke and I decided to bring our little bundle home for his first Valentines Day!!!
*A BIG shout out to my best friend, Laynie, for taking my girls while I was in the hospital!! Even when her man was out on a scouting trip she had my two, plus her two...what a friend!!! Thank you!!!!
*One more shout out to my Mom for making it to all of the births of my three babies!! AND...for taking care of us all afterward!!!
