Summer 2011-Mini Album

YES !!! I made a mini album ! Loved the Key Lime collection from Bo Bunny when it first came out at CHA and thought it would be fun to create a mini album to document the week we rented a Summer cabin.

I used this chipboard album from Nikki Sivils , because I thought it looked like a surfboard when you put the pieces side by side :)  I know...I'm a goof :)

That cute cloud button is from My little bit of Whimsy.

We got a lot of us of the pool !!

A doctor friend from work brought us out on his speed boat and the boys got to go tubing ! FUN!

I really enjoyed creating this album....I may have caught the "mini album bug" !!

Fright Night

Hello scrappy friends :)
Yesterday was a rainy day and I finally found some time to play with papers !!!
I used this month's color challenge from Authentique Paper.

I used the Glowing collection for my layout of Gabriel dressed up as a pirate last year .

I got the idea of using diamond shapes from the "diamond" pattern paper from the Glowing collection.

I've had these "Elm" Thickers in my stash for a few years...finally got to use them !

Last week I fell in love with this palette from the Colour Suite on the Scrapbooks and Cards today blog. I have never done one of these challenges before......I could not help myself for playing along this month...I just love these colors !!! and I just happen to have papers in these shades on my desk to play with :)

That Mama's boy sticker is perfect for this little fella !!! He's home sick today and sure needs his mommy :)

Bo Bunny -White space challenge

A quick share of a layout I made for the white space challenge over on the Bo Bunny blog. I used the On the Go collection for this layout. I love these fun colors and patterns !!

 and the mini alphas are from October Afternoon ( Yay !! ), they finally made orange ones !!!

 

 

I  got the idea for this layout from a sketch I had seen on Pinterest , I had just taken a quick sketch of it and now I can't find it to give credit ,grrrrr...from now on I pin everything I  love :).

We just got back from camping...I'm off  to do a MOUNTAIN of laundry !!!

My last layouts for Birds of a Feather

Hi scrappy friends, today I'm sharing the last 2 layouts I've created with the July kit from Birds of a Feather Kit Co. It's was a fun 6 months and I'd like to thank Amy for having me on her team !!!
I created both of these layouts with the same sketch ( one that I had gotten from my friend Kristine at a Creative Scrappers crop in April- this sketch was designed by Jenny Evans...I loved it so much ,I've already used it 3 times !!!)

I used the Authentique -Glory papers from the kit for this one.

Then I used the Game Day Chili supplies from Jillibean Soup from the rest of the kit ...for a totally different look !!
