Another journal page for a sprinkle of imagination.

I used Dina Wakley heavy body acrylic paint and a stamp from Christy Tomlinson.

"Collect moments, not things..."

My journal page for april

Good to be back again!
Finally my "new" craft room is ready to be used  - I`ve moved upstairs since our youngest daughter wanted to have the whole basement for herself.
I`m quit happy with the result , but I will be the one sweating in the summertime while she can keep cool in her "land down under".

I made this journal page for a sprinkle of imagination using their products ( Stampotique stamp, Dina Wakley heavy body acrylics and stencils).

Using the words in one of my most beloved quotes;
" Believe in your dreams, they are given to you for a reason",
I thought that I could enter the April challenge at Art Journal Journey as well. Their theme is all about favorite quotes.

AND, I made the page with punched circles - this means that I can enter another challenge as well - the weekly Stampotique Designers Challenge .

So - one page for 3 challenges...

Hope you all like it!

ASOI colour challenge

Being me=loving colours, I couldn`t resist the latest challenge at ASOI, using colours like irish cream, rich ruby, seafoam green, deep cobalt and steel blue.

I amused myself using scraps from Maja Design, stamps from Unity stamp company ( Christy Tomlinson) , Sodalicious and de Stempelwinkel ( cherrypieartstamp). A very nice challenge!

The sun still licks our faces here in the Grand Duchy - let `s see what the weekend brings...!

Hope you like this journal page!

a Journal Page for ASOI

Hello again!
I sure had trouble with this one! LOVE the colour combo but where could I find the right ones...?

I ended up searching and looking through washi tapes, old papers, embellishmets and, and, and...

In the end I was happy with the page - stunned by that great posca pen - amazed how easy it was to write with it on black gesso ( I can`t remember how many black pens I`ve damaged by writing on white gesso!)

The colours are this months combo for the colour challenge at ASOI ( a sprinkle of imagination) , using ink black, sand, vivid green, slate blue and pale grey.

Hope you like it!

making new friends - ASOI and SDC 126

Another art journal page for the monthly color challenge at the ASOI. I thought it was pretty hard to find the vanilla end the mushroom colours, and I was very happy when I finally succeeded.Other colours included in the challenge: robins egg blue and golden green.

The words are a nice reminder of this weekend - my husband went to Africa earlier this year and there he met some lovely people from Köln (Cologne). He wanted to keep in contact with them and invited them over. In the end we sure had some lovely time together and I do understand why my husband wanted me to meet these people. So , this page is for Lisa, Grete and Holger - "NEW PEOPLE - ENLARGING MY CIRCLE OF FRIENDS"...

...and because of the splatter and that lovely stampotique angel, I also enter the SDC challenge no 126 and hope that they like my splatter with the deep teal neocolorII and the distress stain!

I wish you all a nice start of the new week and hope to see you soon again!

CHILL - an art journal page for ASOI

Through my dear friend Jaine, I heard about this challenge at "a sprinkle of imagination".

It is a color challenge and I gave it a go - and enjoyed it!

This is my very first page in my VERY NEW art journal ( an A4 Dylusion) and I just LOVE it!!!

I used stamps from Stampotique and Tracy Bautista , a dylusion stencil and different inks.
The chilling frog is a cut out from an ad.

Wish you all a nice and cozy november!
