It is the next leg of the journey. Dr. Roald Kaplan, Wade, Lily & Becca may have found Vela but there are still more needed to be searched. Tony Abbott has presented a solid sequel. Following much of the pattern set in the first book, the high stake chase, the ingenious clues, the factoids, the relation to history and their jaw dropping heroics. The Serpent's Curse felt an experience much more heart-pounding. Our adevnturors have finally come to terms with their sacred mission. Their enemies are many but their friends are less and every second matters. Trust is a precious commodity not easily bestowed and once broken can never be regained. They realize that now such lessons have hardened them even more. Sara Kaplan is still missing, in the hands of the order but our Guardians have no choice but to keep going on. Success in their quest may be the only chance they could actually get her back.

This time it is the serpens. A two piece relic that is needed to be rediscovered. With a history blacker than thou and an elusive background, our heroes must pool every resource at their disposal, if they are to not only find the relic but Sara too. Pooling all of their resources possible, the Guardians spread out throughout the continent to piece together their mission and if not but try and be a few steps ahead the order. Truly a hit by Mr. Abbott, this is an adventure that has something for all ages and we are more excited to see what adventures they have next.

A conjugation of Dan Brown and Rick Riordan? Totally. I got this from edelweiss and I must tell you, you just won't be able to keep it down at all..... This is a smart read..... I love a smart read..... do you love a smart read. That gives you the perfect balance between real and fiction, forces you to study the facts yet still keep it action-packed and adventurous? Well you should definitely get down to reading this book.

Astronomy form the core of the series. As such it is named The Copernicus Legacy after Nicholaus Copernicus, who was famous for establishing that it in fact the Earth that moves around the sun and not the other way around.This is one globe trotting action you don't wanna miss out as the author Tony Abbott masterfully combines history, astronomy and science (yes there are the formulas and the scientific instruments to keep us on our toes) as four unlikely teenagers and one adult, unwittingly get drawn into centuries old cults and Orders and a race around the globe to keep the bad guys from getting the artifacts.

Wade and Darrel. Step brothers. But I loved their dynamics.Wade is the science geek, loves maths and particularly astronomy. Darrel on the other hand only dreams of sleep, food and music. Lily is the tech geek and rather resourceful with her Ipad and Becca loves to study anything she can get her hands on. All 4 may be as different as day and night but when they pool their resources together, well they have the makings of an efficient team. And Wade and Darrel's father Dr. Kaplan is the key to this chase.

MAN WHAT AN ADVENTURE..... Clues.... Clues everywhere, of chases, of riddles, around the globe, to protect a centuries old guarded secret and keep it from the treacherous hands of the bad guys. The Forbidden Stone lays down a solid foundation for this brand new and fresh series packed with breadth taking action and pencil sketched illustrations....
