Pine Valley Tithing Office

The tithing office is located in the yard of the chapel. Some sources say it's the only tithing office that the Church still owns. It's now used as a classroom.

Pleasant Grove Tithing Office

I have to apologize for sometimes falling behind on posting. Between school and work, I sometimes fall a day behind, but I will try to schedule the entries to post automatically.

According to the Utah State Historical Society, the Pleasant Grove Tithing Office was constructed around 1908. I'm wondering if it was a bit earlier, since I found a Deseret News article talking about thieves breaking into the tithing office in 1902. It may have been referring to the nearby Lindon office, I guess.

Lindon Tithing Office

Built in 1890, the Lindon Tithing Office was recently purchased by Lindon City. The house has undergone changes, and the city is working on restoring it--although it's still trying to raise money to do so. They hope to use it for community meetings and events. See more details here and here.

The south side of the house looked to be in the worst shape. Currently, the building is still vacant--with the exception of a lot of wasps that I think are calling the building home (they were everywhere).

Lakeview Tithing Office: Doorway Details

I'm impressed with the condition of the details in the wood, considering how long the building has been standing and exposed to the elements.

Lakeview Tithing Office

Located on Geneva Road in Provo, this building originally was a creamery before serving as a tithing office. It was built in 1899.
