Kyla was V.I.P. for a week. I was so sad, when I got there, my batteries were dead! I got only one picture of her presenting her poster board about her. AHHH! Anyways, she is such a good girl and it was fun to be there and see her.
Talk about over doing it! For the week of 100 because they had been in school for 100 days, her teacher sent home one of the assignments that said they needed to find something, count it out to 100 and then be creative and make something. Well, we did that, and we were the only ones that did something like this. Everyone else brought like cheerios necklace of 100 or pretzels or just brought a bag of marshmellows. Kyla's teacher made me feel SOOOO STUPID for doing this. Oh well, Kyla was creative and she had fun doing it!
Even though her teacher laughed when Kyla presented her homework assignment, I am proud of Ky for doing this. And yes, her teacher did laugh!
I am one proud Mama

Very cute!! Very fun!! My girls loved it!
Better to over do it than to "under" do it, I say. She did a great job!
Kyla, That is a great way to show your 100 days of school. Nothing like a garden with flowers and the big sun shining over them. I think that you are ready for spring in Washington. Guess what, it snowed and snowed here. I think that we are supposed to get some more, and then bam!!! It will be too hot and feel like summer. I am proud of you and that is what you suppose to do so don't you (or is it just you MOM) feel bad for what you did. You are a VIP in my book. I tell everyone that I have the smartest and the prettiest niece in the WHOLE WORLD!!! Love, Aunt Marla
You better get used to it Marci! You are a good mom and this will happen to you alot. So many parents don't help their kids or expect them to do a really good job. With each grade I see it. I still want my kids to know that I expect them to go above and beyond with what they do. Way to go Kyla!! It is so cute! What kind of teacher laughs?
That is such a good idea! I will totally use it next year, because we are not creative at all! I hope it was a "way to be creative laugh" from her teacher.
