a garden of my dream
It was almost five in the afternoon when I arrived at the sunflower field. There were still some people, but most shops were already closing. I found out that the field would be closing the next day as all the blooms were stooping down and ready for harvest.
I immediately ran to the middle of the field for some selfies. However, the beauty of the entire field captured my senses and my mobile phone's camera. Everything was like a work of art, from flowers, buds, colours, shapes, and the intricate weaving of stems and leaves among a field of yellow flowers.
It was sunset, and the last photo I captured encapsulated my desire to be one with nature. Something magical in the sense of closure. Something encouraging for new things to transpire. Something dreamy for all my unfinished tasks as an educator and a gardener.
Life brings so much magic, and the last day at the sunflower field was a gift for my birthday. I become more with nature as I become older in years and experiences.
