It's been over a week...

Mom called me this week and said "I know you're busy when you don't blog for a while" so I decided that since today I slept past when my last class of the day started, I would take this time that I would normally be sitting in Stats to bring you all up to speed on my life.

This week...

-I didn't have any tests, quizzes, or papers that were due.
-After Stake Conference and a Stake RS Fireside I haven't had any firesides.
-I haven't had any cleaning cleaning checks yet (they start today at 5)
-I haven't gone running
-I have gotten sunburned from doing my homework outside
-I made my room a mess
-I worked for almost 9 straight hours on Thursday... helped Russ get some stuff ready for RA class around 3:45, went to RA class at 4, set up for our heritage activity at 5, worked at the activity from 6-8:30, roved from 8-12:30. It was a long day
-I made manicotti for dinner on Monday (it's my roommates favorite now, so we eat it at least once a month on my cooking days)
-I haven't done my laundry yet.
-I haven't made plans for tonight yet, which is AWESOME because it means I get to spend time at home cleaning my room, and then reading, or doing whatever else I feel like doing. I'll probably end up watching a movie
-I've advertised for Mr. Heritage on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday by wearing the shirt they gave me. I haven't worn it all day on those days, but I've worn it part of all of those days. Oh, and I wore it to bed Thursday night, so I guess I wore it today too... even though I haven't left my room yet so nobody knows I'm wearing it. YAY
-I haven't had to let anybody into their apartments this week! Everybody is getting so good at taking their keys with them!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure I've done some other stuff... but really, this has been a pretty laid back kinda week. Next week... 5 cleaning checks plus mine, Stats test, Rove on Wednesday, Christie's play and maybe something else... but I think once my Stats test is over it will be a pretty chill week too!

The rest of the semester should be pretty busy for me. I leave Utah in 37 days. I have 8 homework assignments, 2 Exams, 1 paper, 5 regular finals, 1 RA final, 2 hall activities, 10 cleaning checks, 2 or 3 more regular hall meetings, 2 more Saturday nights of Divine Comedy, 2 more ward activities, 1 weekend of General Conference, 4 more nights of roving before reading days start... and then once finals hit roving schedule is different, at least 3 staff meetings, again once we hit reading days the schedule is different, a couple check out meetings to have, a lot of cleaning my room, packing...

point of that paragraph was to give all of my excuses as to why I may not blog again for a while. I'll see what I can do about getting stuff up on Sundays... but even my Sundays are packed:
22- Draper Temple Dedication
29- Ward Activity (break-the fast) and Ward Fireside
5- General Conference
12- Easter
19- That's during finals week... I'm sure I'll be studying for my New Testament final
26- I fly away.

YAY for a busy 37 days! But hey, once I get outta here I might get a day or so to relax. Maybe.

I should also start going through my clothes and closets now... giving away the stuff I don't need, filling a box of stuff to send home, and maybe start packing a box of the stuff I don't really need... and the plastic tub of other stuff I don't really need for the next 37 days.

Marci, are you flying home to Washington or Nauvoo? Good luck over the next month. You will do great I'm sure. Is this the end of year 2 already? Time is flying.
Love ya, Sis Shelly

Sounds like a WILD and CRAZY ride for these next five weeks. I am envious of your being able to got to the Draper Temple Dedication. Enjoy a bit of the drenching of the Spirit for me. See you soon!
