I Ett Trykk Februar 2012 lekte vi med metall-teip på kort. Her er mine to bidrag:

Teknikker: Hjerte og bokstaver er kledd med metallteip. Bokstavene er å tørrembosset for å få mønster. Hjertet er malt med rød neglelakk.
Andre ting: Papirer er distresset, svertet med rbunt blekk og sydd med symaskin.

Teknikker: Grungeboard figurer er limt på tag'en før jeg tok på metalteip og valset gjennom Cuttlebug-maskinen.
Har så pusset med sandpapir og svertet med blekk.

Love is in the air......

This was a difficult card to make. Sometimes less is more, but less is hard to do when it comes to cardmaking! This Valentine's card is my entry for the challenge Valentine Challenge at Sukkersøtt.

The chipboard heart was coloured with black ink and then I added some Crackle Accent to it. Finished it off with a small rhinestone.

Sjokoladehjerter til mamma....

...fordi i dag er det morsdag og da fortjener jo mamma noe å kose seg med. I  år har jeg pyntet en eske med sjokoladehjerter fra Freia.

Today we celebrate Mother's Day here in Norway and for my mother I have decorated this box filled with chocolate hearts.

Jeg har brukt papirer fra K&Company(Blue Awning Collection). Kantene er rufset med Tim Holtz Distressing Tool og så er de påført Distress ink Vintage Photo.

The papers are from K&Company(Blue Awning Collection). I distressed the edges with my distressing tool from Tim Holtz and inked them with Distress Ink Vintage Photo.

Blonden som jeg har pyntet med rundt kantene, er fra Stoff & Stil.

The lace is from Stoff & Stil.

Oppå lokket har jeg pyntet med diverse blomster og blader fra Prima og Inkido. Jeg har også pyntet med noen små sølv blomstercharms(som jeg har fått fra Jannhild) og noen halvperler.

Det flotte grønne båndet har jeg fått fra Claudia :)

Mamma-stempelet er fra Papirgleder og det er stemplet på en tag som er laget med en Spellbinder die.

I decorated the box with flowers and leaves from Prima and Inkido, some silver flower charms(from Jannhild), and some pearls. The beautiful green ribbon was sent to me from Claudia. The "mother" stamp is from Papirgleder and I made the tag with my Spellbinder dies.

Inni lokket pyntet jeg bare med et enkelt mønsterpapir som jeg sener skrev en hilsen på :)

Inside the lid I just put a piece of the K&Co paper, where I put some words for my mom :)

Og til slutt vil jeg vise dere et nydelig Valentinskort som jeg har fått fra min kjære venn Claudia. Gjennom kortlagerhobbyen og blogging, så har vi utviklet et nært venneskap og et slikt kort setter jeg veldig pris på :) Claudia har selvfølgelig også fått et kort fra meg!

Sukkersøtt # 71 - Kort uten stempeltrykk

Det er fredag igjen og i dag har jeg fri fra jobb! Hurraaaaa! Deilig å ha en fridag innimellom, selv om det er jobbing igjen i morgen! Det er på tide å fortelle om den nye utfordringen på Sukkersøtt! Denne gangen skal du lage et kort UTEN stempeltrykk. Det vil si ingen stempler i det hele tatt :)

This week the challenge at Sukkersött is to make a card without any stamps!

Mitt DT kort ble et Valentineskort. Jeg har brukt papirer fra Inkido(som jeg har designet for dem). Jeg har også brukt tag og prikkete bord fra MME. Den røde servietten var opprinnelig hvit. Den er sprayet med diverse shimmersprayer og også farget med knallrødt blekk.

Det søte motivet er et klistremerke fra Heartwarming Vintage. Det samme er konvolutten oppe i høyre hjøren og "frimerket" nede i venstre hjørne. Hele kortet er sprayet med forskjellige typer shimmerspray, både fra Glimmer Mist og Shimmerz.

Så øsnker jeg dere alle en aldeles strålende helg med feiring av morsdag, valentine's og fastelavn :)

Sukkersøtt # 71 - For someone you love....

Valentine's Day is coming soon and this time at Sukkersött, the challenge is to make a Valentine's card, decorate a box, or make something else to someone you love. After seeing a couple of these decorated mailboxes on blogs and forums, I decided to give it a try. I found a nice template at Splitcoaststampers. But when I had the time to start this box, my internet connection was not working. So I made this box by what I remembered from the template. So my measurments are just random! Ha ha! After some hard work, the internet connection was back again, but then I was almost finished, and it actually turned out to be a mail box in the end!!

All supplies to this project are from Inkido, except for the hinges and arrow, which are grunge board from Tim Holtz.

The papers I used for this box are;

Dreams - Dot Beige

Tuva - Satin Sand

Along the edges I decorated with a border made by Tuva(Satin Sand) paper and a Martha Stewart punch.

The personal stamp, I got from Camilla ;)

And the mailbox is filled with chocolate hearts and other heart shaped candies! And who will be the lucky recipient of this mailbox?!? Can't tell you yet, since the recipient reads my blog ;)

Happy Valentine's Day ♥♥♥

♥♥♥I just fell in love with Kazan's sketch #45 at the 2Sketches4You blog and started to make a card right away. It had to be a Valentine's card since February 14th is almost here. I used one of the papers I have designed for Inkido(Mathea Royal Red), and I also used the red dotted paper from Inkido. I used my Spellbinder circle dies to make the card. All of the stamps are from Impression Obsession(Hugs & Kisses stamp set).

Inside I used a heart stamp from the stamp set.

And the back of the card I "sealed with a kiss" ♥♥♥

Sukkersøtt 67 - Extravaganza

It's time for the first Sukkersött challenge in 2010 and today it'a all about extravaganza! We want to celebrate the new year, new design of the Sukkersött blog and welcome 2 new designers! So the challenge this week is to make your card look extravagant!!!

My card is vintage inspired and I have used some beautiful papers from the Stampin Up Autumn Meadows Papers. All papers are distressed with my distressing tool, inked with Vintage Photo ink and sewn. I have also sprayed them with Glimmer Mist Creme de Cocoa, to give them a nice shimmer.

Here you see how the card opens. The music note stamp is from Papirloftet. Bling/pearl swirls from Prima.

The cute image is from Heartwarming Vintage. The golden crown is a Bazzill chipboard which I painted with golden crackle paint. It is also sprayed with Glimmer Mist and some Stcikles in Cinnamon and Frosted Lace. Leaves and flowers are from Inkido.

Inside the card I also used the SU papers. The golden hinge and keyhole are grunge board from Tim Holtz.

The text stamp is also Tim Holtz.

The cute tag is from Sagen Vintage Design.

The Greatest Thing You'll Ever Learn...

...is just to love and be loved in return!

This is the first card from me in 2010 and I'll start with a valentine/love inspired card.

I used Kazan's sketch #43 at 2 Sketches 4 You, and this card also qualifies for A Spoon Full of Sugar #85, where you have to use hearts on your card.

This card is made with some of the goodies I got for my birthday and christmas

from my beloved cardmaker friends:)

The papers are from Heartwarming Vintage(Radiant Collection). They are distressed with my Tim Holtz distressing tool, inked with brown ink, and sewed twice with my sewing machine. The sentiment tag is a sticker from Melissa Frances. The chipboard swirl and heart are painted with Crackle paints from Tim Holtz.

The corudroy button is from SU and the XOXO ticket is from Making Memories.

On the inside of the card I've used some of the same elements as from the front. The corner stamp is from Prima Marketing.

Friday Sketchers 39

Happy Friday everyone!!! Even thought it's Friday the 13th;) I 'll cross my fingers nothing bad will happen this day.
This week sweet Heidi has made the sketch at the Friday Sketchers blog. I finally got the chance to use one of my new Alota stamps - one of the oval frames. This one looks so good with Valentine's cards. I also used one of the new Magnolia stamps. I coloured with my Pro Markers. I used oval Nestabilities to cut out the image. The sentiment(Stampin Up) is cut out with circle Nestabilities. For decoration I used felt flowers and hearts, feathers, Swarowski bling and a sticker from Melissa Frances. Papers are from Making Memories and October Afternoon.

This card is made with Kazan's sketch #1 in the Norwegian cardmaking magazine Ett Trykk(issue 1/09). I will also enter this into this week's challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar, where the challenge is to make a Valentine's card. All papers are Basic Grey Bittersweet.
For decoration I used ribbon from Kaiser, die cut tag from Melissa Frances, bling and flowers from Prima, tulle, flower pins and Stickles.

The sentiment is a rub on from Kaiser Crafts.

Forever Friends - Valentine's card

Today I wanted to try a challenge over at the Forever Friends Challenge Blog.
The challenge this week is to use ribbon on your card.
I made a Valentine's Card with this cutie. I borrowed the stamp from my dear friend Jannhild this weekend;) I coloured with my Pro Markers.

Papers are from Scrappers Choice, Maja Design and 3ndypapir.

For embellies I used ribbon from Claudia's ribbon kit, charms, red brads, white tulle, pearls, brown felt flower and some Liquid Pearls.

The sentiment is a stamp from Inkadinkado.

One person can make such a difference....

Dette Valentine's kortet har jeg laget til ukens skisse hos A Spoon Full of Sugar. Jeg snudde skissen litt for å få den til å passe motivet. Den lekre rosebuketten er et nytt stempel fra Alota Rubberstamps. Jeg har fargelagt det med Pro Markers. Jeg har også brukt mer av de lekre papirene fra Maja Design.(Julegave fra Jannhild;))
