Since my hands are super dry, I have to use very moisturizing hand cream
I hate greasy ones though...

I am always looking for something that fits the following criteria:
1) able to provide the moisture & hydration I need
2) gets absorbed into my hands and won't wash off when I wash my hands
3) not greasy

so far... moist hand creams fit into criteria 1&3
however, the moisture & hydration they provide are short term
meaning as soon as I wash my hands and dry them, my hands gets dried....

Etude House Petit Bijou Cotton Snow Eau de Toilette

This is one of my favourite perfume!!
It has a baby powder smell and it makes you smell like a baby throughout the day.
I just bought a 2nd bottle when it was on sale for 30% off.
Even if it's not on sale, the price is still good!!

This is my favourite body lotion!! 
The lotion is light, hydrating, moisturizing and non-greasy!!

It absorbs fast and makes my skin super soft!!

 

It has a baby powder scent.

The Koreans call this scent "Cotton Snow"

Try using it after shower, the scent can last a whole day!

I love it for a fact that all my clothes smells like baby powder

The Petit Bijou Cotton Snow line also has a perfume!!

I will review that one next!

I use this one as a hand cream and it gives a refreshing, clean and comfy feeling ~~

I fell in love immediately with the body wash!!!

It has a baby powder scent and made me feel like a baby when I was in the shower

mild texture, alcohol free, no preservatives, no add-on colors

suitable for any skin type, even sensitive skin

ingredients consist of milk essence, Ivy, aloe and chamomile which provides moisture and relieves/ calms your skin

Considering this is not a department brand, the price is quite ok for a 300mL body wash

The only thing I don't like about is that it doesn't lather up too much..

Follow with the Petit Bijou body lotion for an even longer body scent

Etude House Vitamin C Sheet Mask

20g, 1000 won 

Ingredients include 20 mg Vitamin C & 200 mg lemon extract, which aids in whitening, hydration, provides anti-oxidant, brightens skin tone and brings radiance.

Using it before sleep helps get your skin ready for the repairing and renewal process.
Using it before make up helps your make up stay on your face better.

The mask contains lots of essence, quite watery, can't smell any vitamin C. 

Personally, I don't find Vitamin C quite helpful in terms of whitening...

Directions:

wash and dry your face --> toner --> Apply Vitamin C mask for 15-20 mins --> lotion/ cream
*** The mask contains essence and replaces the serum ***

Benefits for Vitamin C to your skin: 
- aids in collagen production 
- reduces fine lines and wrinkles

Etude House Baking Powder Pore Cleansing Foam

The Baking Powder series is made for people who break out and has pimples

Pores get clogged mainly because cleansing isn't done properly

Besides baking and cooking, baking powder can also be used to kill bateria

This cleansing foam can deep cleanses, exfoliates and prevents clogged pores 

I didn't buy a full size, I have a 30 mL sample, which is enough to try out the product ~~

contains bits of baking powder, can deep cleanses your pores and act as a micro scrub

smells like tangerine, the foam is fine 

Cleansing foam are NOT for people who has dry skin.

They are more for people with normal and combination skin.

I do not suggest using it in the morning, since cleansing foams are more heavy cleansers than cleansing water/ gel.

I suggest using it after you removed your make up at night.

Light pink gel, water based and thick in texture
Contains Baobab extract which provides lots of hydration, so you skin looks smooth and soft

This 3 in 1 mask has 3 function:

1. massage
2. hydration mask
3. sleeping mask

1. Massage Gel
wash your face then dry, take a suitable amount, massage on your face for 2-3 mins then wash
you will feel fully hydrated and fresh! massaging onto your face helps your skin to absorb the water moisture better 

2. Hydration mask
wash your face then dry, apply a thick later onto your skin, wash after 10-15 mins
as a hydration mask, this does provide lots of hydration, but it will dry fast... skin feels sticky... I suggest using it as a sleeping mask

3. Sleeping mask
wash your face then dry, apply a thick later onto your skin, go to sleep, wash it off the next morning
good things about it is that the next day, your make up foundation goes on super easy and any pressed powder or dry powder will not be flaky at all



This 3 in 1 mask is highly interesting!!
I combined 1. and 3. together.. massaging only my face and leave on as a sleeping mask
It really feels sooo good!!!
Hydration is very important, if your skin is dry, wrinkles are easy to form!!

Ingredients include Baobab extracts (contact Vitamin A, D, E, F, provides moisture)

The pink line has 2 kinds of Moistfull cream...
1. Whitening + Wrinkle
2. Moisture plus 

Texture is a bit thick than other water based gels I have tried...
Not easy to evaporate, easy to absorb
Suitable for dry skin

I have combination oily skin and I still like it, it really does bring lots of hydration to my skin... 
However, there's still quite a bit of oil on my face and whitening effect isn't obvious
I don't have deep wrinkles, so I can't judge rather it has good wrinkle effects
But for such a good price, I wouldn't expect it does a great job with wrinkles
Scent is a bit strong...
I suggest people with sensitive skin to first try out the tester or samples before buying
For those with dry skin, this cream is definitely a good choice!

This is a gentle and hydration lotion!!

Suitable for dry skin or those that in air-conditioned environment or dry living areas...

Contains lots of water moisture, non-greasy, easy to absorb

Highly satisfies my thirsty skin ~

I love the fact that it's moisturizing yet not oily, feels very clean and fresh!!

Soothing, gentle and cool
Smells refreshing, thick texture, provides lots of hydration!!
My skin is getting dry lately and it sucks the water moisture like a sponge!!

I love the pink packaging!!

There's 3 ways you can use this:

1. mix 1 drop with BB cream or foundation to increase hydration

2. use as sheet mask, get a piece of clean sheet mask and soak it with ~15 mL of toner

3. mix it with mask powder to create a soft mask

Etude House Moistfull Peeling Wash

It's funny they call it a peeling wash.. the name sounds confusing.. so is it a face wash or a peeling??

Texture is a light clear gel

I tried adding water to foam it up but it doesn't foam... and doesn't clean... 

so I tried using it as a peeling on DRY skin

Now it makes more sense!!

This is a peeling and NOT a wash!!

You have to apply this on DRY SKIN, then rub it gently on your skin for at least 30 secs

Eraser bits will form and help remove dead skin cells as you rub

If your skin is dirty, or if you live in a polluted area in Asia, you will see eraser bits turning gray/ black..

After using it, my skin feels soft, hydrated and clean.

I wouldn't recommend using it every day, although the product name has "wash" on it...

Use it 2-3x a week

Etude House Aqua Drop Sun Guard SPF 33 PA++

Sunscreen is so important!! 
You basically have to include it in your day time skincare routine.
UV rays can cause huge damages to your skin.... 
including... wrinkles, dark spots, lost of firmness, lost of collagen, expansion of blood vessels, aging, makes your skin rough and dull and can even cause skin cancer!!


Even though sunscreen is important, but I still hate to use it... 
mainly because most sunscreens are cream texture 
My skin is oily enough... I can't afford to use any more heavy products to make my skin uncomfortable throughout the day... 
I've tried many sunscreen...even the oil-free ones make my skin so oily... 


Sunscreen usually comes in a few different forms...
sun cream, sun milk and sun spray
I like using sun spray the most!! But it's hard to spray it evenly on my face...


I tried to use SPF foundation or BB cream as much as possible so I can skip the sunscreen itself

This is one of my favourite sunscreens!!!

Milky and smoothy texture, very easy to spread!!

Contains aloe vera, which helps to absorb UV rays, prevents red spots from forming

It contains a bit of pinkish sparkling powder to bring radiance to your skin~

There's water drops!! so you can protect and hydrate your skin at the same time!!! 


It also has water resistant function, even if you need to go into water, you wouldn't need to reapply it right away!

The water moisture doesn't evaporate easily, so if you sweat like crazy, it'll be fine~

It looks a bit white when I applied it to my face, but this is a feature for a lot of the sunscreens~~

Etude House Vitamin C O2 White Mask Sheet

My supplier send me 2, got it for free when entering Etude House in Korea!

The size of the mask isn't too small.... it's in 2 pieces, top and bottom

top﹕ 24 cm x 13cm

bottom﹕ 24cm x 9.5 cm

24 cm isn't too bad, but don't know why it feels so small.....  

most sheet masks are ~25-26 cm wide...
wow... that 1-2cm really does make a difference!!

The only mask I've tried that's split into top and bottom is the Laneige Water Bank Mask Sheets.
I've tried many whitening sheet masks... for most of them, after using it, your face will look obviously white and healthy, but it can only last ~1 day....
I suggest using it for emergency purposes, or using it prior to a date =)


The sheet mask contains a light lemon scent that comes from Vitamin C, it's non-irritating, but still..... people who have sensitive skin should be careful using this product.
I love the packaging!! It has snow~~ I love snowflakes ha ha

Overall, I am pretty happy with the result, I will consider buying it again.

Etude House Vitamin C O2 White Capsule Cream

The white capsule cream (1st generation) contains blue beads, the 2nd generation contains gold beads~~ 

The 1st generation white capsule cream is quite sticky and greasy... not good for combination oily skin.. it just feels heavy... I can only use it at night time...however when I wake up the next day, it still feels greasy... meaning it didn't really absorb at all....

The 2nd generation feels way better!! very hydrating!! suitable for the summer time~~ I usually only apply cream during the night, but I can use this one during the day without any heaviness... it feels non-greasy and fresh!! 

It contains Arbutin and Oxygen, helps your skin look brightened and healthy!! It also has a lemon smell that comes from Vitamin C. The gold beads contain Vitamin E, which helps with anti-aging, anti-oxidizing, repairing breakout/pimple marks and suntanned skin, moisturising, preventing melanin from forming. 

Etude House Vitamin C O2 White Intensive Serum

40 mL + 12 packs of Vitamin C powder, 18500 won


This is such a unique serum....

1 set contains 40mL whitening serum + 12 packs of 30% Vitamin C powder

Vitamin C powder

Procedure:

1. morning - wash your face, apply toner then follow with whitening serum

2. night - wash your face, apply toner then follow with serum & powder mixture (strengthens whitening effect) SEE BELOW

Squeeze 1-2mL whitening serum from the tube, open 1 pack of vitamin C powder and mix it up, apply onto face. Powder will melt once it encounters heat... if you find that it hasn't melt, heat it up on your finger.

I tried applying in the morning and it created a big mess.... 

some powder haven't melt yet... so when I apply make up, powder fell out and creates bits and pieces on my skin...

definitely... this is only for night time...

I don't like messy products, so I won't get this one again...
