Little Valentine's

We received a package from Monga and Papa for Valentine's Day. The kids were so excited. They gathered around Jason with big eyes all full of suspense.

Brooklyn beaming with joy as she opens up the Pinkalicious books.

Beckam you can see is still working on unwrapping his present int he background.

Still unwrapping...

...still unwrapping...
...and almost there...

Ta-da! He did it!

Brooklyn gets right to work reading those books...she's reading and enjoying herself...

We got a little plate and a nice card.

...When suddenly Beckam jumps through the air to interrupt reading time. Brooklyn is so into her book she doesn't even see him coming! It's funny that I even caught this.

I was planning on cooking dinner...then thought Costa Vida sounded much better!

This picture, with Brooklyn's head poking up through the flowers reminds me of the MormonAd: Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful

Dinner entailed Beckam trying to blow out the candles the whole time...we finally just had him hurry and blow them out so he could get back to eating his dinner.

Valentine's Day is kind of a wierd holiday to me, unless you're in grade school waiting to see what boy gets you a flower or having the excuse to get out of classes for the dance...there's no real umph to Valentine's Day. But it makes for a nice day to get out of making dinner, to think about those you love, and watch your kids experience their little Valentine's parties.
