My Big Chop!!!!!

This picture is a few days after my BIG CHOP in may of 2008~~~
I was really excited for my BIG CHOP. I actually had the opportunity to wear my natural due to a Sisterbration.com that was held in May. I had such a wonderful time and that is where I actually received my very FIRST compliment from someone other than a family member. I was really nervous about the whole deal because everyone was so used to me having long, permed that that short, natural hair was an extreme. But thus far, everyone has been very supportive. So, thanks to my family for accepting and making my transition and learning more comfortable for me.
