I just finished this cite koala pen. It is a bit larger them I planned but I am happy with it. If it was any larger the pen would be hard to use. The next pens I make I will be sure to keep the focal sculpture smaller.

My First Batch Of Liquid Soap
I have researched, I have invested in the materials(thankfully most of the ingredients are the same as the cold process soap I make) and today I made my first batch of liquid soap. In many ways it is very similar to making cold process soap. The biggest difference seems to be is the use of alcohols, PH buffers and diluting the soap paste. I decided to start off with a mild blend of olive oil & coconut oil. I have 3 jars of this first test batch. One with my own essential oil blend for hair(shampoo), one with lemongrass essential oil & lime essential oil(dish soap) and the last with lavender essential oil(body & hands). I am excited to see how they turn out. Unlike cold process soap where they need to cure for 4-6 weeks the liquid soap only needs to sit for 1-2 weeks. I will update when it is ready.

Back to normal
Everyone in the house is better, thank goodness! I have nearly everything caught up... Just laundry left to do
and fold.
I have been busy creating even with everyone sick. More so in some ways because I was not running around half the day. I have still kept up on my resolution to make one a day.
I made this little blue dog plush toy for my littlest one. It matches her quilt material I made her the Christmas before last. Pictured below.
I made a new batch of soap it is 2 thirds olive oil and 1 third Shea butter with Rosemary and Lavender. It ifs super moisturizing and ifs my favorite winter time soap. Pictured below
I have made a few dozen boxes. Pictured below.
I always am making fresh batches of my lotions & potions as well.
There is a nice little update

Coral & Jack the kitty cats
Today's creations are these two polymer clay cat sculptures. They are just hanging around looking for some catnip. Their names are Coral and Jack named by my 6 year old. They are looking for a nice home.

Dragons
Today I finished two dragons. One with glow in the dark clay the other with a metallic gold clay. The gold one is now a top for a box. I am happy with both! I hippie to have them listed in my shop this week.

New years resolution
I thought out my new year resolutions very carefully this year. I have three, get more organized, get healthy and to create at least one thing a day.
The first one to get organized was also one from last year. I did really good over the past year. I have adopted many new ways to organize but I still need to work on this.
Getting healthy..... This is always a goal, but I want it to be a top priory.
Last but not least I want to create at least one thing a day. So here is todays creation. It is a pencil roll. I didn't have a Patten so I just eyed it. But it came out pretty good.

Weekend projects
I have challenged myself to make at least 1 piece of jewelry a day. This morning I went on an eating frenzy!
