O what do you do in the winter time when all the world is not white but freezing? Well here are the things that Archer likes to do.
*He likes to play office. It is amazing to me how much he watches and listens to us. He has to sit at the computer with the music on just like us, and then he will sit there and type and write and add up his math on the calculator. But my favorite is when I hear "O man!" I say that all the time and Archer now says it too. I think it is so cute.
*We watch Tarzan almost everyday.
This is our conversation when it's quiet time and he gets to pick a movie:
Me: Archer, do you want to watch a show?
Archer: NOOOO!
Me: Do you want to watch a toon?
Archer: WAHHAHAH (with a little tantrum)
Me: Do you want to watch Tarzan?
Archer: (with a huge smile, a giggle, and a little dance) Yes yes!!
I don't think he understands quite yet that Tarzan is in fact a toon and a show.
*He helps me in the kitchen. This was so hard for me at first because I really love to cook but I hate not being able to give it my full attention and take my time, but Archer LOVES helping. So I'm trying really hard to let him. Stirring and tasting and playing in flour, he loves but helping with the dishes is his favorite because it usually goes from this..... to this, his second bath for the day. I love this kid so much!! He has so much personality and is really starting to be independent. He is now 17 months and into EVERYTHING! He has hit a growth spurt and now can reach things he used to not be able to like decorations, books, and the computer. He can also open things he used to not be able to like the fridge and dressers, and one of his favorite games is to pull everything out and throw it down the stairs. He loves football, much to Dustin's relief and he is constantly talking and saying more and more words, and kicking and throwing balls. He love phones and buttons and loves to change the channels on the TV or turn it off more than he likes to watch it (unless it's Tarzan). He is growing too fast, but at the same time I am so glad that he is learning and doing new things. Our life without him would for sure be pretty boring!
I apologize for the format and the pictures being out of order my computer would not let me move them at all!
