CTS145: Super Hero Power

Inspired by the CAS(E) Sketch #145 this weekend.
I used the idea of the stacked sentiments with the main element to the right.

Here's my take on the sketch.
Mama Elephant Tiny Heroes set with a Fiskars set.
The hero was stamped, cut out and colored and placed on a white embossed stamped image and adhered with a wobble spring!
FUN!  Check out the wobble action on my Instagram account @kelbertram

I colored the letter with Copics.
I added Glossy Accents to the hero's accessories.

Fintastic Any Occasion Card

Happy Fall.

Sharing a card I made using the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge #144

This also features the sentiment on the card for

Here's the sketch:

Here's my take on the sketch using Lawn Fawn's "Fintastic Friends" stamp and die sets.
The background was misted with blue Shimmerz spray and
then I flicked distress ink/water combo.

The sentiment was stamped and embossed with black powder:

I don't "watercolor" and mist much at all.
Nice to use that watercolor paper I bought MONTHS ago.
Very happy how this one turned out.

The patterned papers and cardstock stickers are all by Echo Park.
Some cards have Stickles, Glossy Accents, gems and/or homemade enamel dots.
and LOTS and LOTS of dimensional foam!!

Here are some others I made while I had the papers out:

Howdy.

I decided to use my CAS-ual Fridays Fri-dies "Casual Comfort" as
well as the coordinating stamp sentiment.

The background is punchinella by Neat and Tangled.
I put a few swipes of Wink of Stella glitter pen to the tips of the yellow die cut.

CTS85: More Christmas in July

Played along with the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge #85.
I went with a Christmas theme because I scrapped Christmas 2013
and had everything out at the time.

The sticker is from Echo Park.
The swipe and splatters are from a stamp set by Karen Baker called "Typically Teen"
Inks are Hero Arts and Simon Says Stamp

Skylander B-day card

Needed a birthday card for a 9 year old boy.  This CAS(e) this Sketch #81 sketch challenge popped up so I used it to get the ideas flowing.
I just used the sketch for the FUSION challenge.
I took the Skylander image from the brand website and printed it on heavy cardstock.

The banner was cut by hand while the stars came from my
 Lawn Fawn Journaling die set.

Thanks for visiting.
I am closing in the the last month of my Card Drive for Emma, a little girl battling Leukemia in Dayton, Ohio. Please check out the drive.

Close up of the suit.
I used Hemptique string adhered with tape and glossy accents.
The pieces are popped with foam.
I added a bit of glitter with my new Zig Wink of Stella pen.
I started off paper piecing the ball and decided it was too painful so I pulled out the Copics!

Skylander birthday card

Another boy's birthday coming up.
We got him a couple Skylander characters so I wanted to use that for the theme of the card.
I found the image on the internet of "Crusher" which inspired my sentiment.
I went through my stash to find the words to stamp.

I am using the sketch from CASE(E) this Sketch #31

NEON hello card for Maddy

Decided to make a card for MADDY, a young teen battling AML, a type of Leukemia.
You can read about it HERE.

I am using the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch #30 and the
inspiration from the Let's Get Trendy Challenge: NEON

Lacking neon, I browsed Michael's and found these adorable pre-made banners.  I used that as my start and added papers from my stash (Simple Stories, MME).
I bought the sequins last week in anticipation for that upcoming
challenge so I used them here as flower centers.

I felt the card needed a handmade element so I stamped the Hero Arts flower,
colored it with matching Copics and cut them out.
The first card will go to Maddy and the other is for my stash.

CTS30: Christmas in May

I decided to use this week's CAS(E) this sketch design #30 to whip up a Christmas card.
I found the little veneer houses at Michaels and thought they'd be cute with a "from our house to yours" sentiment on the inside later...

I used a holiday 6x6 pad by MME.  I colored the house with Copics.

The banners were made with washi tape.

The new CAS(E) this sketch challenge #29 came at the perfect time.
I needed to make a birthday card for a little boy by the weekend.

My card features Lawn Fawn's "Swimsuit Season"
and Echo Park's "A Boy's Life" paper collection.

I stamp the suit and water splashes and cut them out.
I added Glossy Accents to the water splashes.
The arrow is made from an MFT die called "Lead the Way".

You Light Up My Life

Had a few minutes this morning and wanted to play with the new Lawn Fawn stamps made for Studio Calico that I won from the LF blog a few weeks ago.
I decided to make a birthday card for my husband's upcoming birthday in June.
I used leftover papers from my Echo Park "Little Boy" collection.
DSC04810

I used the sketch from CAS(E) #28 for the design.
I replicated the dots on the sketch by using two different sized gems stones.
I added Glossy Accents on the bulb and black enamel on the bottom and rays.

I am also entering this card in the CAS-ual Fridays challenge 101: Stamping on designer paper. The light bulb was stamped on the EP paper.

Used a couple challenge prompts to make a card this weekend.

papers by Basic Grey and MME.

Merci

Supplies:
Stamp: Purple Onion
Ink:  Distress in Broken China
Papers:  Basic Grey "Kissing Booth" and MME
