Countdown Clipboard

12DAYS_BLOGBANNER

12 days of giveaways happening now on Pink Paislee blog!
And today is my turn!
I love a project that re-purposes something that might end up in the trash or in your drawer. My handmade holiday project is made from an old clipboard that I altered with a chalkboard frame so you and your kids can use it to countdown to Christmas Morning!
RM_alteredclipboard
I decided to highlight the gold and red from the Snow Village collection to my clipboard so I painted the metal clip with acrylic paint!  To create the chalkboard center I just used chalk paint over heavy cardstock.
RM_detail01
Create a cluster in the lower left corner using gold accents to tie it all together.
RM_detail02
Paint a raw chipboard shape with gold paint and add gold glitter for even more sparkle.

Noel Paper Pad by Pink Paislee

Hello,everyone!
I have a couple of holiday cards uisng the new Noel paper pad by Pink Paislee.
This line is available only at Michaels Store!

Look how pretty it is:

NoelPaperPadFanned

We had to create cards using olny papers, and those are my take on this "challenge" .

This easy-to-make card is all about the Christmas tree. Using a Die cut machine or a template you can have a  cute accent to add the torn background. Add buttons and  jewels to tie together the color and embellish your tree!
Renata2
Some scraps of papers can make a beautiful base for your cards.
Here I have half of the background covered by scraps and cut out some Christmas balls from the Noel papers, attached with a small foam tape to give volume and then embellished the black line with rhinestone stickers. Labels and circles complete the elegant look. For the sentiment, I used a stamp from Snow Village collection.

I really love those papers!

Stay tuned toPink Paislee blog in December, because  we will have some amazing things planned!!!

Create your own journaling cards.

Hi, everyone!
I am back to share more project life pages. I have used those amazing stickers from Sentiment Series  and papers from the Hey Kid collection to create my own journaling cards. Look how easy and fun they are to create!
I printed on white cardstock the lines for my journaling. I cut out a little bit smaller than the background red.step01
Adhere the sticker on the top of the card.
step02
Affix the card on the patterned background of your choice, and it´s ready.
step03
With the base ready you can complement it using stickers, circles, chipboards, small alphas.
Here you can see some of mine:

And here how I used them on my pages:

Project Life Focus: Hey Kid

Hi, everyone! .
My turn at Pink Paislee blog and I want  to share with you my project life pages  using the wonderful Hey Kid and Sentiment series Collections.
I have used the 6″x9″ chipboard album from Portfolio line to create my 2012 project life album . Today I want to show you how you can use the Hey Kid  Element stickers words and  alphabets to include  a title in your photos.
I love types and sometimes, only a word can define the whole story you want to tell, and it is a fun way to decorate the page too. For this page, I choose  the word summer and some chipboard arrows from the Kre8v-kit …
page01 2
Another way to use a title is using one of the dividers  to add a sentiment. Here I cut out a heart and added the love, creating a new embellishment. You can see here that I affixed them inside and out of the page protectors. As I  love layers, I had to try something to give volume to the “layout”.
page01 4
Vellum is perfect for titles and those Paper Goods have the coolest words to use!
page01 5
The Subway flags are perfect for a long text! The effect is so cool!
And here you can see the page  in my album.
page01 full
For the second page is the same idea: a sentiment word to tell your story, and you can add some charms to fit your photo theme…
page02 1Arrows and stars are perfect  in boy pages :)
page02 2Remember that heart shape above? I used the negative shape here and look how cool  it is:
Love that camera “favorite memory”  stamp .Perfect for any occasion!page02 3
Stars and a  sentiment sticker  for the main photo complete the page:
page02 fullHope you like and can use these amazing  Pink Paislee collections on your Project life too!
